This is a beautiful location for a quiet dinner or a large gathering. Set on the river in a restored old brick building, the atmosphere is enjoyable no matter what area of the restaurant you dine. The food is the reason for only three stars......sadly, it has been a disappointment the last three times I've eaten here. I had a... More

The menu is not exotic but the food is very good. It's a very unique brick mill building oozing of history and right on the river. The patio in the summer is a treat.

I've eaten here several times. The waitstaff is very friendly and the food is really good. In the summertime, you can sit outside on the patio by the river. They also do some awesome catering. I've had several meals that were catered by C'man and the food is always awesome. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Claremont.

The food was great and reasonably priced - the staff was very attentive, the atmosphere was more than great. You also get complimentary cheese and crackers! The lobster and corn chowder is absolutely amazing!!! The manager is there walking around constantly making sure everything is okay - just a great experience!!

Good solid food. Friendly service. Sitting outside on a warm night is a lovely experience. Fair amount of choices for vegetarians. Very fun cracker and cheese bar in the center of the restaurant. Great place to go with friends and relax over a meal together.

I have eaten at most of the Common Man Restaurants and they are all top notch just as this one was. Great food, nice atmosphere great service. Well worth the short drive off of interstate 91 at exit 8.

My wife & I & 2 children stayed @ the Inn. We went to dinner & the atmosphere was comfortable & done well in an old mill building. Plenty to choose from for all ages. Overall a B+

For a small town like Claremont, NH you wouldn't think there would be that many classy restaurants and this is one of them for sure. The meal portions are excellent for the money, and there is lots of dishes on the menu for everyone. You can eat indoors or sit out on the patio by the waterfall it's a beautiful... More

Had Sunday night dinner here, after a long drive from Ottawa. This place has a lot of character. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, despite the lively wedding reception/party happening upstairs. Food was good and reasonably priced. I liked that we could grab cheese and crackers from a basket up front. It was also a nice touch to have the bill... More
