Renovations to this once falling down mill building are amazing. Outstanding views of the river. In the summer the floor is open in two places so you can see the river flow beneath the building. You can see and hear the water falls sitting outside on the patio. Food is good with nightly specials. Great variety of food to choose... More

We had contacted the restaurant for a last minute reception for my fathers funeral and they were more than willing to put something together for us and within our budget. We had more people arrive than what we had planed for and ran out of food every quickly. The event manager, Courtney, assured us this was ok and had more... More

To start with, this restaurant is in an absolutely stunning refurbished old mill building with an unbelievable river-side porch/patio. Typical of most of the other Common Man properties. The bar is good...fast service, decent prices and friendly service. That's where the "good" ends! I've probably eaten here a dozen times since it opened a few years ago, hoping that the... More

Don't eat the tacos. Inedible. Also found a chicken bone and could have choked. Manager was a waste and we had to ask him to do something on our check. He finally comped one meal. Acted like he was doing us a big favor.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal on the deck overlooking the scenic waterfalls of the Sugar River. The waitress was very attentive and offered us the complimentary cheese and crackers while we waited for our food. I ordered New England Cod, which is bacon wrapped cod with oven roasted red potatoes and buttery/garlicky sauteed spinach on the side.... More

A group of family and friends went here last night to celebrate our daughter's graduation from the nearby community college. The interior is gorgeous in a rehabbed mill with superb views of the Sugar River and glassed over holes in the floor above the rushing river below. Cocktails and appetizers were great, dinners were o.k. and seemed to be delayed.... More

Not exactly easy to find but plenty of signs in the area to get you there. Once we walked inside, we new it was going to be a delightful experience. The decor was simple yet pleasingly unique. We walked down a 2 stages of stairways to get to the dining room. There was an elevator for those who have issues... More

the place is amazing and seems out of place in Claremont. The food is good/great, but if you want a drink or two, make sure you order it quickly and ask to have them keep coming.. the service is slow at times.

Ate there 3/19. We love this place. Restaurant is in a former woven label building that was renovated in a rebuild of Claremont's mill district. It sits behind the Common Man hotel and parking is limited. You may have to park on the street in front of the hotel and wind your way down to the eatery although a few... More
