Liked the casualties. And great appetizers and cocktails. Recommended by Bryan an Lynn from the Ballard Inn!

We went to Canoe for lunch on two recommendations from locals in Wolfboro and Center Harbor. We ate in the tavern, which was cozy and had a nice view of the trees and the lake. The main dining room was closed at this time of the day since it is after Labor Day and slower time of year. The appetizer... More

I want to give this 4 stars but the service was kind of lacking the night we went. We arrived around 8:00, It was the last week of July so it was pretty busy and the parking lot was full. Luckily the restaurant allows you to park at a nearby church and has a shuttle. The shuttle driver was very... More

This is a great place to dine! My family loves to go here when we are in town, the food id delicious with a great variety of options on the menu. The Mac and Cheese is especially delicious, Lobster mac and cheese even better! Great appetizer options, we love the sweet and sour calamari.

We went to Canoe last week based on our nephew's recommendations. After reading a couple of the TA reviews,we were apprehensive but went anyway. Had a great meal at the downstairs bar area. Despite the bartender, Aaron, being alone, he handled the whole area quickly, efficiently in a fun manner. We started with the sweet and sour calamari based on... More

My wife and I have eaten at the Canoe several times now. The food and service is good, just be sure you make a reservation on a weekend, or holiday, evening. We went with friends on a busy summer weekend, and fortunately I had made a reservation. No spots left in parking lot, but one of the owners ran a... More

4 of us ate there in early August- needed to make reservations. We were seated quickly. Knowledgeable waitress. They bring you a paper bag of warm brushetta and refilled it when asked. I had Lobster ravioli which was very good and came with several scallops on the plate, which was a bonus. My husband had an Asian seafood medley that... More

This restaurant came highly recommended but was average rating for their high prices. I had a halibut that was smeared with I think was mayonnaise and crushed Ritz crackers. Yuk! I scraped this off before eating. Husband tried their lobster mashed potatoes for $2 more - not worth it. Best Lobster Mac cheese ever was in Seattle!! You would think... More
