Mad River coffee is so good that I started drinking coffee black! I used to drink Starbucks daily, each cup light and sweet. Since moving to NH I discovered that really good coffee doesn't require milk or sugar! Their Mad River blend was the first cup of black I tried and it was smooth, not acidic... read more

We were glad to see the change of location and happy that the food is just as good as ever. We get breakfast here at least 3x in our week stay!

Delicious coffee & scone - haven't tried their other offerings but menu looked great for bakery items or more substantial lunches. Also had their deviled eggs a couple months back and they were delicious too.

If you want a good cup of coffee or a latte then definitely check this place out. It's a cute space with an eclectic interior. It's very casual offering breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee for breakfast. It's not a large space and on a Sunday morning by 9 the place is hopping! Forget the Dunkins across the street and treat... More

World class coffee, incredible home baked goods and homemade fresh and frozen meals. Friendliest service. If you're traveling with a kid, there's a designed playing area that will keep your little one busy while you sip your coffee. And to think we almost missed this spot and got coffee at DD...

We were so excited to see that Mad River Coffee House has expanded! From the beginning we loved the coffee for its expertly roasted mild acidity. Now we can buy it in larger bags to take home! From bagels and coffee before cross-country skiing to gourmet sandwiches and delicious cold drinks for a Mad River picnic while camping, we love... More

This place has the potential to be 5 stars based off the feedback I've seen here so perhaps I visited on the wrong day. The service was slow - it took them 10 minutes to warm up my muffin The kitchen dropped the ball - they burned the muffin so I tasted charcoal.

We went here this afternoon for a late lunch. Friends had different wraps and I got a Cuban panni sandwich wich was very good. I think they moved to new digs nearby last year and are now set back farther from the highway. The photo used on Trip Advisor needs to be updated as this is not the building we... More
