Family owned local coffee house. Perhaps the best coffee around and the family owned business is just wonderful. All kinds of magnificent breakfast sandwiches, specialty brewed coffee and homemade pastries. Stay clear of the mass produce coffee place and visit this gem in the heart of Campton.

We are fans of cappuccino and lattes. This place makes both very well. Pastry to accompany it was a nice touch, too!

Small and comfortable coffee house offers a wide variety of beverages at great prices. Breakfast and lunch items are an added treat. Always enjoy visiting the Mad River Coffee House when visiting Waterville Valley and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I was in desperate need of some caffeine when we spotted the Mad River Coffee House en route to North Conway. The selection looked great and I wished I had time to order a sandwich but we were running late so I made due with an iced chai. I love the fact they put coffee ice cubes in it. Yum!... More

I love the Mad River Coffee House. I live close by and stop by there every week to get a pound of Lunar Eclipse. The food is terrific and the owners work hard and have really created a comfortable spot to hang out, eat, and drink REALLY GOOD coffee!

This was the first time we visited this establishment. The sandwiches were fantastic. My husband got an iced coffee and was quite pleased to see that they used coffee to also make the ice cubes so that his drink did not dilute as the ice melted. I had a fruit smoothie- they used locally picked strawberries that had been frozen-... More

After reading some TripAdvisor reviews we stopped in today and are so glad we did! My husband only drinks espresso and is very particular about it. Rarely does he find an espresso shop that meets his expectations but today he found one that far exceeded his expectations!!! The Mad River Coffee House quality is SUPERB! My son loved the chocolate... More

I had Mad River Coffee every morning recently while staying at the Black Bear Lodge. Excellent coffee! Then, on the way out of Waterville Valley, I stopped at the Coffee House and filled up before jumping on Route 93. Cute place in a great location!

We stoped in Campton, NH for a farmer's market on a hot summer day and saw a coffee house. Decided to try it instead of Dunkin Donuts across the road. Wouldn't you know? Had a fresh Greek salad and an iced capuchino. Really a nice little place. Enjoy it, if you're in the neighborhood.

I normally really like local coffee places...but I was not impressed. The baked good were average and the service not very friendly. Overall, for a basic muffin and coffee you are better off going across the street to Dunkin Donuts.
