We were recommended to have lunch here, sure glad we did!! LOTS of food, the Reuben was a pleasant surprise! Not the cold cut you would expect, was BIG pieces of REAL corned beef, come with a appetite!! Erica the bartender was very friendly & made a good martini!!

Our family really likes this place. Mary Ann has put together a consistently really good restaurant in Bristol. The beer menu, including bartender Chris, is first rate and changes regularly. The food is consistently really good. Our favorite is the chicken medallions are awesome. I even like Mexican Night's burrito - chicken please. I also like whiskey and Kathleen's Cottage... More

The corn beef in the sandwich was thick, juicy, plentiful, and had superb taste. Fabulous bread too.The Dark Pennance draught beer was a new and gratifying experience. (Be it known that this beer is very "hoppy".) The young woman who served us was friendly, helpful, and amusing. In order to make a beer selection she brought us several samples. We... More

Had a great time with family here, with good food, spirits and music. We have been here several times and always feel welcome.

We were in New Hampshire to visit a sick friend, and also visited with my sister in Danbury, NH. She suggested we go to Kathleen's in Bristol, NH. I had their butternut squash lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious! My wife had the chicken pot pie, which was wonderful, and my sister had a salad. The service was great, and... More

What a gem! Friendly atmosphere. Delicious fare and great selection of beers, etc. Live Irish music in a quaint cottage setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Noisy but fun, great food, good service. Would have like more authentic Irish choices but at least they had some!

I just returned from my third and final trip to Kathleen's Cottage. The first 2 times the food and service were great. This time we got the worst waitress I've seen in years, screwed up orders, overcooked meat, and the most tasteless excuse for beef I've ever seen masquerading as Angus. No bread, silverware or napkins (finally got the silverware... More

We found this pub quite awhile ago when searching for a St. Patrick's dinner location. What a wonderful surprise! The food, the music, the lager on tap and the wait staff and owner are all delightful. We frequently enjoy eating here and listening to a good Session on a Friday evening. Friendly, warm and wonderful atmosphere!

Kathleen's Cottage has pulled off something that restaurants have tried and failed for decades to do in the Bristol, NH area: Survived as a year-round entity in a summer vacation spot. Kathleen's is a great local joint. It's small and friendly. The food is several notches above the usual pub fare. Perhaps the greatest strength of Kathleen's is this: The... More
