Description: Nestled in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is a quaint, historic 1700’s grist mill overlooking the Newfound River. It’s the home of The Mill Fudge Factory, where we make handcrafted, small batch fudge, all natural ice cream, and delicious café fare. We are family-owned and operated, serving the highest quality fudge and ice cream for over 7 years. Our mission is simple: to make people happy.

I ordered this fudge from New Hampshire online to be delivered to us in Florida. I was a bit skeptical, at first, of travel time and freshness. Trust me when I say, it tastes like it was just made today. The shipping was 2 day express through the USPS. We did experience a bit of a problem with the shipping,... More

What a delight to randomly drive through Bristol and find The Mill Fudge Factory. I simply stopped for tea and stayed for hours....and returned the next day too. The roaring sound of the river is intoxicating, so, weather permitting, make it a point to sit out on the covered porch on the lower level at the tables closer to the... More

Water and fudge. Not even a budge. But water and #1 lunch I will take the nudge. And the water vista of the old Mill race ... combine it with a wicked grill cheese made with Cabot Cheese ... yum yum. We did the loop from Waterville Valley to Newfound Lake and the Sandwich Notch with a lunch stop in... More

Heard lots of great things about The Mill Factory Fudge, so on a cloudy but fair day made the road trip up to Bristol to try it out. I tried a few samples, and chose the Bavarian Chocolate and Chocolate Mint Fudge to take home. It's soooo good! Has a nice, creamy texture that just melts in your mouth; with... More

I've only had the ice cream and coffee at The Mill. I will say-the fudge looks spectacular. Helpful staff, and the dining area is very inviting. Excellent selection of local sodas in the fridge. Popular spot, and for very good reason.

Great little place. The ice cream concoctions are a destination. The brownie sundae with home made brownie and home made inventive ice cream and toppings is something that invades my dreams especially when vacationing on New Found Lake! Our party was large and the owner (again this year) was our personal waiter and did a great job with lunch and... More

Read a review of their establishment in NH magazine and thought that we would drive over from Meredith to give it a try. Well worth the trip and we will return to work through their menu. I want to try their breakfast menu. Excellent and friendly service, nice atmosphere, clean bathroom and pretty spot along the river. We ate on... More

We own a second property in Bristol and have been going to the Mill Fudge Factory for a number of years. Their ice cream is great (including flavors with fudge mixed into it) as well as the sandwiches and other food offerings they have. We've attended several of the live shows they have on Saturday nights and it's always a... More

I first came to the Mill House because a friend told me she wanted to go see a band that was playing at the Mill Fudge Factory in Bristol. I had never heard of either the band nor the cafe but I decided that there were worst ways to spend my saturday then with live music and good company. Boy... More

We have been to the Mill Fudge Factory a number of times on our way to our lake house near Meredith and it has become a favorite stop on our way up Friday evenings. A couple of weeks ago we stopped in for dinner and were reminded of how good the raviolis are (amazing pesto!) and just how fresh the... More
