We saw the menu at the B&B we stayed at and the innkeeper told us how great the sandwiches are. They were right, we had a fabulous lunch.

From the outside, the Cold Mountain Cafe looks very basic. Walk inside and the initial feeling is confirmed, with its small size and simple setting. But taste the food and you know you have found a jewel in the lovely village of Bethlehem. We stopped by again recently and were in for a renewed sophisticated delight.

By happenstance stopped for lunch there a few years ago & now we make it a destination when in the area. Their grilled chicken, whether salad of sandwiches are my favorite. Always moist & flavorful. My wife loves the bean cake & salad. We stopped for lunch on our way back from Montreal last week and it was good as... More

We had dinner there once it was ok. The service was not the best but the food was good. It is not bad for a town of this size. It only seats about 30 people andtheycould do more to make it a better experience.

It is hard to expect fine dining in small towns - but this restaurant qualifies. We had the daily specials - the fish and the steak - creative, well prepared and presented dishes. The wine by glass selection is great and moderately priced. The service was friendly and efficient. What else could you want!

Figured we would be eating a ho hum meal from some family restaurant. We found this cute little restaurant and enjoyed it. Wasn't perfect, but lots better than the alternatives. My husbands lamb stew was a little chewy, but the flavor was great. My salmon was over cooked, but still tasty. I like my salmon just on the side of... More

Very sophisticated lunch menu (but they were flexible in adjusting for our picky child). Great pasta and salads. We also enjoyed the hard to find pumpkin mini whoopie pies

I was in the New England area this past week and stopped here for lunch while driving around the state. It turned out to be my favorite lunch of the week. I was so happy when I walked into the small restaurant to see they had coffee/espresso drinks listed on a large chalk board. So I ordered a large cappuccino... More

That might not seem like a great recommendation, but when almost every where else in the White Mountains shuts on a Monday and Tuesday, this place is a boon. Food was good (although I'm not sure the nasturtiums were a necessary addition to the plates!), and service friendly.

After searching two areas for restaurants that serve lunch we came upon this little cafe. We were warmly greated and given water and menus. We each had the daily special of bow tie pasta with a creamy tomato sauce loaded with chicken, spinach and artichoke hearts done to perfection. If you are in town, stop here. We loved it.
