Cold Mountain Cafe is a lovely place. The ambience is pleasant, the waitress friendly and efficient, and the food delicious. And prices are very reasonable. We shared a house salad and for entrees tried the poached fish and the steak tips. You can't go wrong here.

This is a small 11 table restaurant. I would say max occupancy 50 people. We lucked out on Saturday night and got right in. Other people had to wait in their cars before a table became available due to no waiting area. Their menu in my opinion is a perfect size, but I still had a hard time choosing what... More

This restaurant was recommend to us. We were not disappointed. This is a small place right on the main street. It has perhaps a dozen small tables. Our waitress was helpful and answered our questions. Our food was excellent. I enjoyed a hamburger, perfectly done. My wife enjoyed a black bean cake which was tasty and enjoyable. This is a... Based on other reviews we decided to give CMC a try. Glad we did. Kate was very nice and helpful throughout the process. The menu is not large by any means but there are options to tempt any palate. The pricing is decent and the meal worth every cent, it was very good. My Wife had the stuffed sole (fish)... More

We take every opportunity to dine at the Cold Mountain Cafe! Lunch meetings, dinner out just the two of us, or with family or friends in tow - this is the ideal spot if you find yourself in the North Country anywhere near Bethlehem! The food is inventive and at the same time, very down to earth - and did... More

The waitress was more interested in socializing with her friends at the other table than taking my order. Unfortunately, I think she was also the owner... She was snobbish and made me feel uncomfortable. The food was strange, it was not what I expected it to be. It was also EXTREMELY overpriced for what was on the plate. Needless to... More

I have eaten lunch here three times in the past two months and CMC never disappoints. Fresh ingredients, creative specials, calm, efficient waitstaff, and a cozy setting make for a satisfying experience. Although I live nearby and can drive in easily, I would recommend Cold Mountain to travelers coming through the White Mountain region.

Found this place by chance, while on a mission in Bethlehem, NH. Very eclectic, small, but comfortable. The food is excellent - sandwiches on homemade breads and the best hot chocolate I've had in years. Reasonable prices for the quality. Wonderful local artist's work added to the ambience.

We were in town for our wedding for three days, and we visited this place twice! The food was amazing, fresh local ingredients, great atmosphere. If you're in the area, definitely recommend this place and their hot chocolate!
