...So says the menu and I agree. This is a little local place with friendly service and a nice selection of freshly created fare. I had soup and sandwich and enjoyed it. Finished lunch with a nice soy latte. Relaxing place at a fair price.

After driving across northern Vermont without finding a welcoming place to stop for lunch, it was refreshing to come across the Cold Mountain Cafe right on Main Street. We sat outside and enjoyed excellent soups, salads and quiche. Relaxed efficient service at reasonable prices

The tortilla pie was fantastic and the other 2 dishes were equally good! My wife said her eggplant was the best she ever had eaten. Very unique, healthy selection of entrees. Very good service in this quaint, little place. Only downfall was they did not accept credit cards.

We've been there a couple of times on our way to Maine. Food's always been good but service long. Last time, it was worse than ever. We asked to seat outside and the waitress told us there were only tables for 2. We were with our 3 children, all teenagers. Three big tables were occupied by couples. When I pointed... More

The menu is not huge, but it doesn't need to be. The food is done right. The specials are enough change for me. We liked it so much that we came back several times!

We were recommended here by our Innkeeper. We got there late but were able to be seated outside. The service was spotty - we had different people doing different things for us- but it may have been the late hour. The food was a little slow in coming out but was very good. My wife really enjoyed her black bean... More

I remember stumbling upon this place 3 years ago, but could never remember where we were. Great spot that is unique and comfortable. We loved the vibe and the food was terrific. It was a real pleasure to find again after a long morning car ride. Enjoyed a hearty homemade soup and black bean cake-spinach greens salad. Yum! Hit the spot,... More

Had dinner after movie. Hubby and I were very happy with each course but the mushroom soup was. A huge hit. The Stack, eggplant, polenta and cheese was very creative.

Wow. To find a restaurant like this in a little town in NH was certainly a treat. The food was fresh and creative, like a trendy little bistro you'd find in the South End of Boston. But the wait staff and atmosphere was friendly and welcoming unlike those trendy bistros. Both of our meals were delicious with the standout being... More

After a day of sight-seeing it was great to have a really nice meal. Food was a little out of the ordinary - no cheeseburgers or anything too mundane - and all the better for it - a great place to visit if you're fed up with having the same thing over and over and want to try something new.
