Decent Neighborhood Spot

Quiet, accommodating waitstaff, with mostly locals eating and socializing. The menu is varied, but the food itself is a bit bland and lacks imagination. Quiet, accommodating waitstaff, with mostly locals eating and socializing. The menu is varied, but the food itself is a bit bland and lacks imagination. Nothing bad--just not inspiring in a "can't wait to go back" kind of way. Bethlehem looks like it is falling apart, but this place has longevity and is certainly an OK stop.

We love this place for a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Steamed mussels always good! This year, I had a yummy salmon, and my husband had an unusual but delicious beet ravioli. Great tirimisu for dessert.

My wife and I had a great lunch. The black bean cake salad and crab cake salads were awesome. Service was friendly and atmosphere was warm and cozy. Cappuccino and espresso with dark chocolate torte capped a wonderful experience. Definite stop if you are in the Bethlehem area. Thanks Colleen!

The breadth nd depth of the menu is impressive and the lovingly prepared food is delicous. My wife and I enjoyed a long lunch that included some of the best seafood chowder in New England. Much of their meat and produce is locally sourced and the seafood comes over from the Atlantic coast. A very warm and inviting place to... More

We visit this cozy little restaurant every time we visit Berlin. It's always been for lunch but they have an excellent dinner menu that looked delicious. It's just that when we stay in the mountains of NH, we are from Massachusetts, we stay at the Notchland Inn and eat dinner there every night (Bethlehem is 28 miles from our Inn,... More

found this little cafe in Bethlehem New Hampshire, don't drive past it, stop and treat yourself to a surprising good meal. Great atmosphere and the food is really good for a very fair price.

The Cold Mountain Cafe has an excellent lunch menu for those who want something different than the ordinary sandwiches, etc. The soup, quiche and salads were excellent and the prices very reasonable. The service was a bit slow, but that may be because the place was nearly full and there was only one wait person the weekday we were there.

My favorite stop in Bethlehem. Great people, great food, great artwork, great community. While lunch is always my favorite, I have been thrilled with my last few dinners because the eggplant stack is back (so delicious) and the Vermont Fresh Ravioli is always a treat.
