Just FYI, they're shuttered until 5/2/14. I need to write more for this to work....all I can say is it sounded great so I drove up from a shopping trip to Franconia. Will return after the thaw. The only other restaurabt in Littleton is Rosa Flamingos, recommended by a local, for burgers etc.

Unassuming, with the outside not portraying what one is about to encounter upon entry. As my Review Title alludes... a very pleasant surprise. We were with friends, whomst live nearby and they themselves had never stopped in. Nice selection of beer & wine. Very nice house salads. Entrees we enjoyed were of the pork and lamb variety, all delicious. Followed... More

This was not what I expected, I guess because of Cafe. I was thinking a burger and beer. This Cafe does serve good beers, and wines, and maybe there was a burger on the menu. It was fancier than I'd expected, but not too fancy. I felt comfortable in my jeans. The food portion was more like a fine dining... More

Speaking with staff previous to visiting, I looked forward to dinner. The feel of the place is classy/hippy/friendly. The specials are imaginative. The pricing is reasonable. Our chicken and lamb entrees were strangely tasteless, as if no one was taste-testing these long-standing entrees. Bethlehem's a cozy town that needs a real stalwart on MainStreet

There are not a lot of choices of where to eat here, but this is a good one. The staff was small but attentive. The food was really good, awesome vegetarian options. The hot chocolate was also a big hit with us.

Cold Mountain Cafe is a friendly and comfortable restaurant with great food. We love the steamed mussels as an appetizer. We learned that they get fresh seafood from Maine several times a week. This time we had panko-crusted salmon that was out of this world. Every meal here has been very enjoyable, and is reasonably priced for the quality of... More

We had dinner there last night and it was outstanding. The pork tenderloin was prepared perfectly with a crumble on top which consisted of cal it's, cranberries and Gorgonzola cheese. This is a very small and friendly restaurant where all dishes are prepared to order and the presentation was excellent. We look forward to stopping there again in the future.

We were staying in nearby Carroll so we thought we would give it a try based on other reviews. We liked it so much on a Thursday night we went back on Friday night. We ate pork tenderloin, grilled chicken and salmon. Everything was great.

The owners of the Sugar Hill Inn recommended the Cold Mountain Cafe, and they were right. The food was excellent, and the waitress was extremely pleasant. The only drawback is that they don't take credit cards, which did not present any problem to us, but we felt it is worth mentioning so people are prepared for it.

This is another gem of an eatery in Bethlehem NH (the other is Maia Papaya, which is more of a cafe). The menu is varied and the food is fresh and superbly prepared, with both veg and meat options. They do lunch and dinner, and also serve beer and wine. We've eaten here several times both in summer and winter.... More
