The food at Coyote Grill is great. The service is also pleasant, and welcoming. The drinks are OK, they stick too the shot rule.

Had the special chilli burger and fries and the seared ahi salad. Both were delicious! Will definitely be back again. A little pricey but portions are large enough to share.

Every year may family vacations in Tahoe for a week. Over the years, we ate at Coyote Grill. It was so convenient next to our timeshare and Safeway. This year, we were so disappointed. First thing we noticed was, this place is not very crowded for dinner, which we found odd. In the past, this place has been busy. I... More

As you can see from previous reviews, we really liked this place. But on our visit the food was not up to par. My with had the ahi tacos. They were fine, but the rice and beans were horrible, absolutely no taste to them. The beans actually tasted like they had been watered down. I had the chicken tostada salad.... More

This "hole in the wall" is next door to the Safeway and looks pretty unexceptional from the outside. We were seated into a central booth and so could see all three television sets with ease (but I hate tv in a restaurant!). Although the menu has other things, we decided to order from the Mexican portion of the menu. My... More

Quite a decent little eatery, food is quite OK, it's clean enough, just the service could be better (the server from Poland was quite good but it seemed as her shift is ending soon). Cold draft beer good as always.

Locally owned and operated. Great luncheon fare, good bar in expanded premises with large screen sports TV. Serving staff are all friendly and service is fast. Consistently good food.

We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food and service is always top notch for simple and delicious meals and prices can't be beat. We make it a point to have at least one meal here during each visit to South Lake Tahoe!

We previously loved Coyote Grill. But the "new" chef at this time made the worst burgers on the planet and messed up our orders. Very bummed. Went back again to give them another shot but same results. Hope they can get back in the Great Burger game soon!
