The outside of the Sam's Place is not much to look at but I was told that it is the oldest existing bar in Tahoe. The inside is like a small maze and of course very dated. We ordered a pizza based on the trip advisor reviews. Delicious! Crust was thick and had a great consistency. Not greasy. My husband... More

So we had a large party of about 12 people. We sat ourselves, which I think is standard. It took a while for anyone to come over and take our order for drinks. Took a really long time to get our food and when it came it was only 1/3 of our order. By the time the rest of the... More

Get the Sam's burger, it was delicious. The place is kind of "dive" ish from the street but it has a cute grassy patio in the back with a fountain so it was very comfy. The waitress was very nice and the food is not "pre-fab", it's made from scratch. I had the fried zucchini, my son had the bbq... More

We were in Tahoe for 7 days and ordered Sam's Place pizza on 3 of the days. We ordered take out, so I can't say much about the eat in experience. What I can say is that the dough on this pizza was delicious. It was almost like eating grandma's rolls topped with marinara, cheese, and pepperoni. I found myself... More

We stopped here because we had a coupon from the Entertainment Book. It is a small bar with friendly staff and good food, My husband got the House Salad for $8.99 and I ordered the California Chicken Sandwich that came with fries for $9.99. His salad was really huge and he had a hard time finishing it! My sandwich was... More

Mostly locals. Outdoor grilling and bier garden on the grass. Good pizza. Small restaurant and bar but good food and drinks. Appropriate for families, especially the backyard tables. Open late. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. Parking is small lot on Highway 50.

This little restaurant/bar was right across the street from our condo rental. Great food and service! Literally one guy was serving the outside area. Which got busier as we sat and visited and ate our food. He was on top of things the entire time. We have a large family and I really can't remember everything the girls(5) ate. However... More

Pulled in to the small parking lot and wasn't sure what to expect. Walked in and sat at the bar. There are tables and outdoor seating as well. Was greeted immediately and served a cold beverage that I ordered. Had pizza and salad and both did not disappoint. Pizza was great, salad was fresh and beer was cold. A lot... More

Indoor/outdoor seating. Live music outside on the beach on our visit. View of sunset from there was awesome.
