Cold Crab Legs

Went for their seafood buffet. Like the layout of having salad bar away from other items. However, when it came for entries some were cold. Tried the crab legs, however, they were very cold and wasn't split open, furthermore there were no crackers to crack the crab leg shells. Even the quesadilla... read more

When we first got there to eat everything looked great, then we got our food and it was watery and flavorless. Went back and tried something else and got the same results. About the only good thing was the desserts and the staff, other than that we were very disappointed after paying so much for our meals for a family... More

Was staying at the Nugget, was very hungry so we looked at the buffet. You would figure something that was almost 30 a person would be at least wide in variety. The burritos for instance were rock hard and resembled a gas station hear lamp version. Only crab legs and shrimp on ice was only appetizing thing. The fish looked... More

My meal was paid for by comp credit. Took me a year to earn enough for the buffet but other than the tip it didn't cost out of pocket. The variety is fine but the quality is lacking as the don't have a lot of business. The staff does what they can but I'm sure it is hard to be... More

We went to the buffet at the Nugget in Wendover, NV, last Friday evening, they were having the seafood at about 28 per person. We tried quite a few things from the buffet line, but found nothing that was palitable. We were lucky that the salad bar was OK. We will not be stopping at the buffet again. There are... More

Chilled (not steamed) crab, huge chilled shrimp and some amazing chilled oysters on the half-shell (these were from somewhere where the water is cold in July, excellent!) No dessert Nazi and chocolate-covered rice krispy treats! We we're very satisfied! Very good experience.

It was okay, the service was very friendly. I would eat here again. I think from reading other reviews, it can be hit and miss.

Ate here because we had a 2 for 1 coupon. Their was a wide variety of food choices, however, everything was dry and flavorless. All the food looked as if it had been sitting in their warmers for hours. Even the cheesecake (which I normally love) was dry and hard.

My Aunt was visiting a couple of months ago, and wanted to go eat. We recommended somewhere else, but she had tickets to the Nugget. She called me several days later and said, lets not eat there again. Food was cold, and didn't taste fresh.

We always have a good experience here, sometimes the selection doesn't have many foods we enjoy but they have a great dessert selection and the chocolate fountain is a "must try" if you have children.
