We were not real impressed but it was cheap and fairly fast ,like all the other reviews say my lettuce was really wet but it was at least fresh .I could take or leave this place not special at all.

Great place to stop and eat when passing through Wendover Be prepared to relax and talk to who your with. Service takes a few minutes because of limited staffing available in Wendover.

New remodel has cleaned it up a lot! 3.99 all day breakfast is a good bargain. Service was friendly and prompt.

UPDATE; Just back from Wendover and we were excited to get that wonderful Ruben sandwich at the Prospectors Cafe!! It didn't happen..... We were soooo disappointed at the sandwich we got. They said it was a Ruben but the beef was chopped not sliced, and the swiss and thousand island were absent. We thought the crout was missing also but... More

$3.99 breakfast can't be beat in Wendover. You can pay more for eggs, bacon/sausage/ham, hashbrowns and toast, plus a little extra for coffee or tea, but why would you? Breakfast is just the start, whether you want Mexican, Texican or just plain food, you probably will not go wrong in the Prospector Café.

They re-opened and the cafe looks nice. The counter is gone--too bad I liked to sit there at least on the weekends they have a new breakfast buffet ($7.45). Coffee was included This was pretty good with most of the usual. Items plus an omelet station. I asked for just a scrambled egg with ham, mushroom, and cheese. She didn't... More

Nothing about my experience here was good. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated when the restaurant was only about 10% full. I saw several staff members just standing around and talking, so I'm not sure what the hold up was about. About 5 minutes after we sat down the fire alarm went off, but no one got up... More

The hotel has completely redone the cafe & it is updated to a more modern motif. The food is still at a reasonable cost & is as good as ever.

This place is located inside the Red Garter Casino. It used to have a diner look to it, but has recently been remodeled into a very attractive restaurant. It is one of the more affordable places to eat in West Wendover. We ate here for breakfast, and I ordered the ham & eggs special ($3.99). It was a very good... More
