The Bonanza Cafe is located right downtown in the historic section of Virginia City. It makes a big deal about having a "100 mile view" from the patio, but, really very little can be seen from there. The menu is the usual sandwiches, and they are pretty expensive. I asked for a root beer float, was told they didn't have... More

We were hungry and took a chance on this cafe. They have great food fast and friendly service with a local flare. Prices were very reasonable for a tourist town. Would definitely eat here again!

We went in based on a recommendation from an area merchant. We were on a tour and only had 3 hours in Virginia City. We got a patio seat, right away. They were not very busy. We ordered our food, and got beer from the adjacent bar using the coupons they gave us (2 for 1) which was nice. However,... More

Handing out 2 for 1 coupons for drinks so we came in for a beer. Outstanding view out the back, restaurant was rather crowded but we didn't eat. Card machines were broken at the bar and the guy who repaired them went on a rant about having to fix them he sounded drunk. It was enough for us to walk... More

Simply fun. Don't overthink it, just soak up the flavor. Didn't eat but had some drinks and enjoyed the views plus slots. The bartender was fun and friendly, very comfy spot to chill.

People here talk about the view. We didn't get to see it. We were told we could wait for 10 minutes to get a patio table, but that we shouldn't because they had a table for us inside. Our party of four ordered. Three burgers, one salad. I got my burger with no mayo or onions, and with garlic fries.... More

Had bonanza bread and soup, bread was yum for 4 dollars walked out to the mile high view. Spend the quarter to view the canyon, there's a lake and the view is amazing.

We always try to at lest eat one meal here and have a cold beer while enjoying the 100 mile view from the patio. Great food.

We arrived in town late and were hungry, but didn't want to spend alot of money. We didn't expect alot when we entered this cafe, which is connected to a casino, but decided to give it a try. We had the option of sitting outside on their deck, which had an incredible view, or eat inside. Because it was late,... More

The sandwich we had was a chicken and cheese sort. Very good the only comment I would say it would of been excellent if not on a hamburger bun. Say a nice french roll or something to hold the yummy ingredients better. All in all it was good. I enjoyed the outdoor seating although it had a high wall and... More
