The food was pretty average for a chain restaurant, but I ordered the fish tacos and the Mahi Mahi was far from fresh :( Others in my party had a similar, so-so experience. The table arrangements and restaurant layout were awkward and uninviting. The drinks were expensive and they don't take reservations during concert nights. There were 10 in our... More

This is one of our favorite places to dine in South Lake Tahoe. Although the restaurant is sort of hidden below the casino in Harvey's Resort and Casino, there's a sports-bar vibe as you enter. The night we dined, there was a rock band warming up, giving the restaurant a party-like atmosphere. We tried the fajitas, enchiladas and quesadillas, and... More

I've loved visiting this chain and always had great service. The service at this one located inside of Harvey's Casino in Tahoe had equally great service. I wish I had something equally positive to say about the food. I was in a group of five and we each had something different for breakfast, not one thing was good. I would... More

Excellent venue!!! Group of 10 prior to concert. Had a blast and was seated quickly. Had tried to make reservations however due to the concert was informed no reservations could be made.

We visited Cabo Wabo 6 years ago on our last visit to Lake Tahoe and we enjoyed it. This time was very different. We were told that on Monday's and Tuesday's they only serve a small menu at dinner time, (a bar menu). We ordered (to share) a small nacho and mahi mahi (?) tacos. The waitress suggested that we... Was looking for a regular breakfast & came upon their menu. (Wanted something beside muffins & cinnamon rolls.) Enjoyed some basic eggs, bacon, etc.

A girlfriend and I stayed in South Lake Tahoe for a wedding this June. There is not much going on during this off-season for Lake Tahoe, so when we wandered by Cabo Wabo on Saturday night we were just happy to find a place to hang out and have some late night cocktails (who wants to go to bed at... I wasn't impressed with this location whatsoever. I've been to other Cabo Wabos and this one doesn't seem to be up to par. After seeing the quality of the service and food, we opted just to take shots at the bar and a cocktail and move onto the next, more entertaining, stop on our stay in Tahoe.

Don't waste your time. Very disappointed after hearing so many great things. Thought it would be festive like Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Vegas but very boring. Zero atmosphere unless you like the warehouse feeling with a couple of multi colored chairs and some pictures of Sammy...who cares! Service was so so....only three other tables and it still took ten minutes... More
