Always a good time

I have been here so many times and it is always great. Sometimes it's slow and it's just fun hanging out. When there is a decent cover band, the people watching and head jamming is always enjoyable. On a late fri or sat night it is a packed house and in for a good time. Can't beat a cold Corona... read more

Nicely located below Harveys in front of the pathway to Harrahs. An interesting dive Mexican place - the layout was not my favorite but not much you can do about that. Nicole our server was excellent and delivered some strong margaritas. The food was excellent - get a combo plate, try a little of everything. The guac was terrible but... More

This place wasn't horrible, but I paid $20 (roughly) for a wet burrito that tasted like EVERYTHING was out of a can. The waitress was awkward when I walked in with a beer and she asked if I came in with it. When I responded with, "yes" she says, "you wouldn't lie to me now would you?". I am like... More

As we were traveling through the area we decided to eat here. What a mistake. We ordered the "traditional queso" - it was the most gross item I have ever seen created. It was hard as a rock. When asked the waiter to return it, he said that's traditional queso. WHAT? Clearly not sure where he gets his queso from.... More

Believe it or not, the breakfast here is very good. The bloody mary comes in a gigantic glass. You have to order it (especially if you are hung over) and they are open late or your post gambling pre-bedtime post-midnight snack.

Stopped by for lunch after hiking to Eagle Falls. We were there for a late lunch and lucked in to the lunch special. While the chicken enchiladas were tasty and modestly priced, the main attraction was the Waborita. Nothing says tourist quite like a bright blue drink in a fish bowl. That aside, they make better Waboritas here than in... More

We went to Cabo Wabo on a Sunday night. This is Lake Tahoe's slow season - its after the peak summer season and before the busy winter ski season. As such, we were all of three parties in the restaurant. Sunday night football was showing on the TV, which we watched. My husband had enchiladas, I had a very good... More

I travel to Tahoe often and have for a long time. I would always look forward to Cabo Wabo however the past several visits have been steadily getting worse and worse. The service is abysmal and the food a small step above taco bell. The margaritas are so sweet you can barely drink them and the prices are outrageous for... More

Excellent service. Very cold beer. Tasty fajitas and excellent chips and salsa. Baseball on one tv and football on the other. Can it get any better.
