Good drinking, country Mondays, but don't ask for any other songs for dance.

Went there for drinks with the wife...only thing happening in town on a Monday night. Country music for the night, wanted a least some pop during the band breaks but that was too much to ask, even with the small crowd....even the last song that I tipped for was not a dance tune...so if you are not... read more

Was a bit overwhelmed entering when they wanted ids, had to wait in line, then they stamped your hand. I guess this is ok for college kids, but it can get a bit old for others. At least there was no cover charge. Bartender was good, a little on the pushy side, but ok. Not a large crowd inside, but... More

Love Cabo Wabo and love Mexican food !, however, tried calling them for over an hour and the phone just rang and rang ( but they were open ). Trying to make a reservation for a large party, but no one would answer the phone. So on the Internet that NO CHILDREN were allowed....which seemed rather odd since it is... More

not great atmosphere but good for a quick bite. The food is very good and the service was quick and accommodating. Not much atmosphere though.

My wife and I stopped off for a drink and asked about dancing in Tahoe. Our server informed is that a dj was on in a short time and it can get a little crazy. We couldn't believe it as it was pretty subdued. We stuck around until 130 am and danced and danced until our feet could take no... More

The food was good. I had a beef chimi that I really enjoyed. The black beans and rice were nothing special. Our male server was so much fun! He had a joke for everything! The jokes were really funny! He made our meal so enjoyable.

The meals we had at the Cabo Wabo were okay, good, but nothing to write home about. My husband noted when asked how his salad was said 'it's a salad...'. That's it. My shrimp fajitas were good, but nothing special. Except maybe that the platter on which they were served was so hot that it burned the shrimp and spattered... More

We enjoy coming to Cabo Wabo whenever we're in Tahoe. We enjoy the casual atmosphere, food, and drinks, and we can watch a ballgame at the same time. Our waitress was great and took perfect care of us. We ordered drinks, the nachos with beef, and the chicken "Mini Chimmies". All were delicious, but it was WAY too much food.... More

We went to Cabo Wabo for a breakfast buffet since the normal one for Harvey's was closed for renovations. For the price it was decent, at best. Our waiter kept referring to us as "ethnic" when we asked about hot sauce and other "Mexican flavor" sauces available for our meal. We are both Caucasian with olive toned skin. It was... More

Service was sporadic, The food portions were plenty, but not much flavor. I've been to other Cabo Wabo's and this isn't the best one by far.
