Too Smoky For Us

Like most casinos, Harvey's allows smoking in the building but the air quality in that casino is terrible due to very low ceilings. We could not breath.

I prefer the vibe in this casino the best. Not too hip, more about gaming. Great selection of games and many tables.

WOW!!!! Where do I start. The minute we stepped into the lobby, we could smell the smoke. We walked by the kids area, wreaked with smoke. Went into the elevator, more smoke. Arrived on the "non" smoking floor and guess what... More smoke. You can't excape it. My entire family ended up using their inhalers 3x more than normal. I... More

My buddy and I stayed here for some spring skiing. I can't complain about anything. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with two beds non-smoking as we requested. Check-in was fast and efficient. Service great. Elevators fast. There's a Starbucks right at the bottom of the elevator for those early mornings. The hotel is connected via tunnel to Harrah's.... It is just a casino. My husband liked the poker room, as it is the ONLY one in Tahoe. I gambled on the slots and we at at the Hard Rock. Breakfast was terrible, dinner was ok.

Large, clean rooms with easy check-in and comfortable beds. The big bonus here is that it's right across from the Gondola so it's easy access to the mountain if you're there to ski.

Small casino floor with most all table games, minimum $5 tables available and up; many restaurants. Just walked thru, did not gamble on this one night in town.

Room was comp'd thru our players cards but we still had to pay the $20/day resort fee. Sheesh. Rooms are clean and furnishings are typical motel/hotel chic. Lake tower view from our room was over the pool. Jacuzzi was a bit too hot and no way to regulate. Both husband and I had good luck in the caSINO. aND THEY... More

I love 70's music and it plays in this casino, but the layout of the gaming tables and slots seems a little chaotic. Too many blinking lights and colors. The restrooms are a real pain to get to on a different floor so you have to take the escalator. Also you can smell cigarette smoke as soon as you walk... More

You can find a better hotel for the same price Harveys charge. Any motel would be better then this run down hotel.
