Good food

The buffet was extensive and the servers were attentive. We were there on New Year's Eve so there were loads of people and we were still happy with the food and service.

The rooms, and especially the suites are to die for! Definitely capable of living in those suites. Odd to say maybe, but even the housekeeping staff was awesome. Brought me chocolates first thing in the morning! Every girls dream! Ha! The pool and hot tub are indoors and very nice. The Spa is the place to be! Massages are incredible!

The Forest Buffet at Lake Tahoe was well stocked with Shrimp, King Crab, Beef, Ham, and all other forms of cuisine and I had a hard time deciding which way to go. Everything was great including the dessert cases but by the time I had eaten the main courses I did not have a chance to try the desserts. They... More

Loud, poor service. Good food but the Chop House is 1 million gazillion times better. Don't waste your time or money. Had a reservation at 7. Sat at 7:30. No dress code. Loud obnoxious parties. Really disappointed.

Sub par casino, dull atmosphere, terrible payout. Avoid this casino. Definitely needs updating and fresh feel.

We ate in just about every one o them and all was good. Hard Rock was good for their classics. The American River was good, breakfast was real good. On the sign outside they advertise a $4.99 breakfast (maybe it was Harvey's - same thing) that price is just for the midnight hunger pains not breakfast. I do miss the... More

It's worth eating in the Buffett just for the view alone,on the top floor with views across the lake.food as you would expect from this type of restaurant.good value and selection .At busy times you may have to wait but it is well organised and you are kept informed.
