Food was good, we had the waffles. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make our experience a good one

Not much more needs to be said of this local "chain" - - great breakfast and lunch spots in Carson City (US395), Stateline (SR207) and 2 South Lake Tahoe locations (US50@Ski Run and near Meeks).

Great spot with local flavor. Excellent food, good ambiance, great service. We stop here to power up before hitting the slopes.

I thought this was the only Red Hut Cafe because it looked like a little old Mom and Pop style restaurant ; but there are actually four other Red Hut Cafes in the Tahoe/Nevada area. The one we visited was on Kingsbury Grade in Stateline; and the reviews of the place were all excellent. It was so small that our... More

We were headed back to our condo when we decided we had better stop in for a bite too eat as to not have to cook. We ordered the Swiss cheeseburger with mushrooms. It was the BEST hamburger WE (shared) had ever eaten. Compliments to the Chef. Homemade fries and everything fresh to Perfection!

Have been a regular there for over 30 years. Most wait staff there for at least 10 years. Owned by a local family who put up outstanding heart warming breakfasts and lunches. At 2:00pm, 'The Hut is Shut'. hugh portions, consistently good quality food and priced fairly. Three locations to serve you.

The Red Hut is still the best place in Tahoe to enjoy breakfast. The original "hut" on the California side looks lioke nothing has changed since 1958.. the Kingbury Grade location (my favorite) is alwsy staffed by freindly and helpful staff. The food is tasty and we always make sure to visit when in town.

Recent visit to Tahoe and went to Red Hut twice. Several times per week they have Pumpkin Pancakes on the menu this time of year, don't miss out if they have them.... Always a great staff and service, regardless of which location you visit. Great job Red Hut!
