We had been travelling and breakfast was always a quick grab of what we could get on the road and the idea of a proper breakfast would be a good idea. I never had Red Hut and my husband suggested that I should. We were surprised to find it was full to the brim and we had to wait for... More

Tired after a long day of hiking and biking, we decided to give the Red Hut Café a try. Hubby and I shared a burger which was good while our son had his usual spaghetti. Our server was excellent and very caring! Superb service at a diner type restaurant.

We didn't wait more than 3 minutes for seating. All the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere is hometown, reminiscent of the long, rich history of the Heavenly Valley community. I have the "mountain folk" omelette. Has 5 extra ingredients of your choosing. I can't complain about the speed of service or the flavor, both were very good.... More

Had breakfast twice. It's a good for breakfast if you don't mind the wait especially on weekends. But buy a Latte and relax. You will not be disappointed.

Not sure what all the fuss is about, we were not impressed. We asked some locals for suggestions for a great local restaurant for breakfast and were told about the Red Hut Cafe. We went to the cafe on Kingsbury Grade. Parking was bad, restaurant was tiny and very old looking once inside but if the foods is great who... More

Went here expecting great food as always. Ordered the chicken and waffles. Was served a delicious waffle with reheated frozen chicken tenders! Just. Gross. Do it right or don't do it at all Red Hut. I loved this place. Ton of happy family memories. Sigh.

Chose this place on the strength of the reviews and came away disappointed, we chose the Omelette with Jalapeno Bacon and it was very greasy, the Omelette itself was flat with no fluffyness at all, just not impressed, possibly the worse breakfast of our vacation :(

Unpretentious. Food was tasty but menu was average. They have a large "Fat Tire" (a beer) that caught my husband's eye but it isn't a bar. Beer, red or white wine (no uppity 'wine list') and maybe a mimosa or is available.
