We were staying in a condo on the summit and with the construction delays getting up and down the Kingsbury Grade we opted to order carry out from the Fox & Hound. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries how hard can it be? The burgers were so burnt they weren't edible. The buns were burnt, literally black. The burgers were so... More

Our first stay in the Heavenly Resort area. Fun bar with a great staff. We were there for 4 nites & had breakfast there daily, lunch twice & dinner once. Also stopped by for happy hour one afternoon. You can enjoy the smell of smoking meat daily!

I went here on the recommendation of a local, who raved about the bbq, and ended up going with me. The place was crowded, so we sat at the bar. Had to wait 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the bartender, and another 10 before we could place our orders. I think the majority of my disappointment was mainly... More

Very close to the Ridge resort. The menu has a lot of variety and the food quality was very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We stay at the Ridge for a week and I think we ate at the Fox and Hound 3 times. The Bar-b-que is outstanding!

Expensive $18 for a small pizza, but really good. And the hamburgers are out of this world according to our granddaughter - again, expensive $9-$20. Two pizzas, two hamburgers, three sodas and four draft beers and it was $101 with tip. But the food was great and they are open late...the only place on the ridge to eat. And the... More

The food was just ok. What I didn't like about the whole thing is we had to pay for take out. They charged extra money if you wanted any extras on your food. I wouldn't recommend this to no one sorry.

We were staying nearby and had just arrived from a long trip to get to Lake Tahoe. This place had great ribs which most of us ordered. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was good but a little dry, ask for sauce on the side. Burgers were also good. Very reasonable. Also open late for late arrivers to the... More

You smell the smoke before you walk in, and the food even exceeds the wonderful aroma! Staff is friendly and really attentive to your needs--an A+ on service. Prices are great and servings are really big.

Have been here a few times but find it very inconsistent -Good selection of beers on tap + voted one of the best BBQ in Tahoe - but the BBQ can vary widely - this visit the burger - "Pig on a cow " and 1/2 rack ribs were great but the tri-tip dinner was tough and very dried out... More

Fox and Hound is a great place to go when the power goes out. Heck, it's just a great place to go and have a good meal in a relaxed environment. The views outside are worth the trip alone. My husband loved the ribs. I have had the pulled pork, trip tip, and the burgers. They are great. The fries... More
