Nice place out where there is no competition

Happened to drive by & see the place. As the eatery we were heading for at the Tahoe Ridge was closed, decided to sop. Really great waitress. Friendly & welcoming. Chose to eat outside where the breeze was not too strong. Food was OK.

Great casual stop for lunch or dinner. I had the pulled pork dinner and it was terrific, large portions and the BBQ was done as advertized! Highly recommended. Great service too, the recommendations were spot on :)

Hwy 207 takes you to Summit Valley, turn onto Tramway and follow around to the left to the restaurant. Only a 15 minute drive from Lake Tahoe Blvd. If you like BBQ, then this is the place. We had huge portions of ribs, chicken and pulled pork - delicious. Had enough to enjoy again that night for dinner.

We happened to be staying up at Tahoe Summit and decided to pull in and give it a try since it was so much quicker than driving down the mountain. We weren't disappointed. We actually ended up eating here twice. The fish and chips were great and The loaded fries were delicious also. A nice bar, and family friendly. They... More

Food was average. Waiter was brusk and impolite. If you don't mind have utensils and plates airmailed to your table then maybe this is the place for you. I had to send one "plastic" dinner plate back, it was still dirty. Went with friends who wanted to have ribs at this place....I went with trepidation, and rightly so. I wouldn't... More

My friend and I stayed in a condo near the Fox & Hound. We stopped in just about every day for a drink or meal. Hearty delicious breakfast-eggs cooked perfect. BBQ ribs are delicious as are the baked beans. Fall off the bone!!! Tri-tip beef nachos & Greek pizza were yummy! The staff treated us like family.

Half of our group of eight enjoyed the feast for $70+ and we had many left overs. The shredded pork was the best with the ribs a close second. The beef could have been less rubbery but when you are hungry and tired it all gets eaten! There are lots of flat screens all around and lots of white noise... More

We stayed in South Lake Tahoe but drove up to Fox and Hound for some great food. The burgers were awesome and we enjoyed eating and watching the Men's NCAA championship. I would highly recommend Fox and Hound for some good food.

The Fox and Hounds is a must stop whenever I go to my timeshare at the top of Kingsbury Grade in Stateline, Nevada.I've always enjoyed breakfast, lunch or dinner. This time I had an excellent french dip sandwich and took home some BQ ribs and pulled pork. The ribs were excellent. A nice treat whether you stop by after skiing,... More
