Ranked #18 of 42 Restaurants in Stateline
Price range: $10 - $30
Cuisines: American, Hamburgers, Family Fare
Dining options: Lunch, Dinner, Late Night, Dessert
Description: 6,225 feet above sea level in the Sierra Nevadas sits Lake Tahoe, spanning the bold state line between California and Nevada. With a leg on either side of that divide, you can bet this popular resort area has a slightly split personality. Roughly half the visitors here plan to kick back California-style on the side that bears the Golden State's name, to engage in low-key sightseeing, hiking, fishing, camping and boating, while the other half heads straight for Nevada, and all that that name heralds. Ritzy attractions, big-name entertainment and the lure of the jackpot beckon at abundant glittering casinos there, so, what? You can't decide? Ehh - don't sweat it. We've struck a happy balance for ye of many interests. The Hard Rock Cafe Lake Tahoe is located in Harvey's Resort and Casino, just 5 minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort and only 1,000 yards from Lake Tahoe itself. So whether you gamble your money in casinos or your life on the mountains, the Hard Rock Cafe Lake Tahoe is the perfect place. Our Alpine ski lodge decor makes you feel right at home if you're ready to relax, but if gaming the night away is more your style, our triangular bar in the restaurant's center features 18 video poker machines to make you feel like a real high roller. And if you've worked up an appetite from all this, you better believe you've come to the right place. Nevada Magazine rated Hard Rock Cafe Tahoe the #1 burger in the state! So step inside the Hard Rock Lake Tahoe and walk the state line for a rocking great time.

My wife and I just had a nice lunch here. It seems that the prices if this and other HRC are going up, but you're paying for the food and atmosphere. This locations happens to inside of a hotel casino close to Lake Tahoe. That being said I'd go back in a minute next time I'm here

This is not much different from other HRC's. Had to wait about 25' for a table but wait was worth it. Menu is extensive for both food and beverages. Pulled pork sandwich is great.

We had dinner here before heading out to gamble and were mildly disappointed. They used to be well known for their burgers, but ours were mediocre. The service was average, and the restaurant itself was very loud.

This is such a cute fun restaurant! I just loved it. I don't remember what I ordered but I know it was good and I would go back here again.

We enjoyed our meals at the Hard Rock. The service was exceptional; the food good, although a little pricey. The only major negative was a drunk who was harassing the lead singer of the Doobie Brothers at the table next to us having dinner with his family. I should have intervened, but I didn't.

It is what you would expect from a chain of this type, good drinks and good drinks, but nothing out of this world. I liked it though and had a great time with my friends

Food was okay, but room was noisy and crowded. Service was good and fast considering the number of people there.

The food was generic but we really went there for the atmosphere. Service was good, drink was strong, but nothing special about the food. They didn't even have brown mustard to put on my burger.

Visited during summer vacation to Lake Tahoe. Really busy but we got a table outside the main restaurant right away. Had drinks and appy platter. All but the onion rings, which were undercooked, were tasty. We found the prices reasonable, and with bigscreen music videos and tables around us having so much fun, you couldn't help but have a great... More
