6,225 feet above sea level in the Sierra Nevadas sits Lake Tahoe, spanning the bold state line between California and Nevada. With a leg on either side of that divide, you can bet this popular resort area has a slightly split personality. Roughly half the visitors here plan to kick back California-style on the side that bears the Golden State's name, to engage in low-key sightseeing, hiking, fishing, camping and boating, while the other half heads straight for Nevada, and all that that name heralds. Ritzy attractions, big-name entertainment and the lure of the jackpot beckon at abundant glittering casinos there, so, what? You can't decide? Ehh - don't sweat it. We've struck a happy balance for ye of many interests. The Hard Rock Cafe Lake Tahoe is located in Harvey's Resort and Casino, just 5 minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort and only 1,000 yards from Lake Tahoe itself. So whether you gamble your money in casinos or your life on the mountains, the Hard Rock Cafe Lake Tahoe is the perfect place. Our Alpine ski lodge decor makes you feel right at home if you're ready to relax, but if gaming the night away is more your style, our triangular bar in the restaurant's center features 18 video poker machines to make you feel like a real high roller. And if you've worked up an appetite from all this, you better believe you've come to the right place. Nevada Magazine rated Hard Rock Cafe Tahoe the #1 burger in the state! So step inside the Hard Rock Lake Tahoe and walk the state line for a rocking great time.

Food was ok

The food was typical chain restaurant food, the staff was friendly but service was very slow and it took a long time to get it. It was not particularly busy when we came in or when we left.

April is "dead" season in Stateline. After realizing all the decent restaurants within walking distance were not open for business on this particular night, we ended up at Hard Rock Cafe. It was getting late so we opted to share an appetizer and the full rack of "fall off the bone" Baby Back Ribs as described on the menu. The... More

A group of us chose to eat here upon arrival Stateline. We'd had a long trip and thought we'd go for a safe bet. Whilst the Hard Rock Casino was quite impressive the Cafe over at Hurrahs wasn't... Everything about the casino felt tired and dated and unfortunately that was our experience in the Hard Rock Cafe too. Should have... More

A great lunch with the kids. The videos on the walls kept everyone really entertained, and my teenage daughter loved checking out all the memorabilia on the walls. The barbeque chicken was excellent, cooked perfectly, and the chicken wings were outstanding. The entire staff was really welcoming, and we had great service from JBird. Thanks!!

You would think as a "chain" Hard Rock would have a very cookie cutter menu, however I was surprised to find that not true at all. I was able to order a burger unique to this location only. It was a Patty made up of andouille sausage, crawfish, and beef. It was very good and totally original!

Hotel staff suggested we try the restaurant at the fairly new Hard Rock Casino/Hotel. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere. Lot's of dining options and very friendly staff. Also a great place to go for desert and coffee after gambling!

So confusing to find this place! Cause you expect it to be in the Hard Rock Hotel. Nope. It's in Harvey's. Probably should tell folks when they make their "call a heads". However when we got there it was fabulous!!! Burgers were fantastic. Our waiters, Duran, was the best waiter we had all weekend. We ate out in restaurants all... More

Thanks you for taking the time to give us some great feedback on your server and dining experience. I do apologize about the confusion with the new Hard Rock Casino next door. We continue to work with our staff on great communication and it sounds like we could have made our location clearer to you and your group. More

We arrived in the restaurant close to shift change and on a under staffed day so our service at first looked like it was going to not turn out to good. But more servers came on shift and everything was more then expected. Food and service (after the little starting hiccup) was wonderful.

We were here mid week around 8pm. The cafe was almost empty and yet the service was extremely slow. Our drink order for a party of 4 (2 beers & water) took 15 minutes to arrive and our simple meal took 45 minutes. The waitress took pains to tell us the Caesar salad, beet salad and one order of fish... More

Dear Travelmystic, Thank you for taking the time to inform us of this timely and unacceptable dining experience.
