Wanted something a little more upscale for the event, and we'd heard this restaurant mentioned. There was a delay getting there due to posted road construction, but worth it Plenty of seating in spite os wedding rehearsal dinner in lower level. Spectacular view of sun setting over mountains I enjoyed my mussels and salad bar, which was better than most.... More

Waiter was awesome. Calamari was tasty as hell. Ambience was wonderful with rain and rainbows. My shrimp pasta was super delicious. I have 0 investment in this place but I love the food, service and ambiance every year I come up to the most beautiful place on planet earth, Lake Tahoe.

The food was average and didn't like the fact that they had a salad bar. We had a prime rib and filet. Overpriced for the quality. Our server was not as attentive or friendly as I would have expected, especially since we ordered a $75 bottle of wine. Will not be back.

My wife and I have eaten at the Chart House many times and we're always happy. Try to time your reservation so that you can watch the sunset over the lake. Spectacular views!

The first dining experience at Chart house lived up to the hype. Our waiter was engaging and attentive. The food was fabulous and very rich, paired perfectly with a wine selection recommended by our waiter. We were excited to take friends for a second visit. Unfortunately, the appetizers were ho-hum spring rolls with boring shrimp, I don't even recall the... More

We took friends for dinner to celebrate an important birthday. We got a booth with a great view. Our server was very patient as we took our time with placing on order. He was very helpful in making choices. The salad bar is excellent, highlighted by inclusion of caviar. The food and service was excellent and the value was very... More

We made reservations more than a day in advance for window seats to observe the beautiful sunset on the lake. We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation in seats that faced the wrong direction. I got a lovely picture of the sunset which included the couple who got the window seats that faced the sunset. The food was good... More

Of course we love The Chart House and we always eat here during a trip to Tahoe, but this time wasn't fantastic. Our waitress was sufficient enough but seemed as though she wanted to be elsewhere. All business and not interested whatsoever that we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Hummus appetizer was great. My coconut shrimp was butterflied and... More

The wife along with our college age son and his girlfriend came here for my birthday dinner. With 7:00pm reservations attempting a sunset experience, we were treated to menus with my name and date printed at the top for my birthday, nice touch. The sunset God was great that night, and gave us a wonderful show along with some incredible... More

My husband and I had dinner at the Chart House and loved it. We got a booth with a great view of the lake. Fantastic service, our waiter was such a fun guy.
