This Sushi restaurant is serving wonderful, delicious, fresh stuff at very decent prices. The All you can eat deal is amazing - if you can manage to eat a lot, but smaller combos also leave you happy and totally satisfied. Any other Sushi place in that area seemed completely uninspiring after dinner at Sushi Pier.

Went ziplining at Kirkwood with my girlfriend over the weekend and stayed in South Lake Tahoe. We were looking over places to eat, coming up with nothing suitable until Sushi Pier caught our eye. All you can eat sushi? Sounded fishy in more ways than one. Upon entering we were quoted a wait time of 30 minutes. Standing room only... More

Wow! This place is truly a treasure. Damon is fantastic. We sat at the bar and were treated to the best sushi and most unique that I've ever had. We had a roll with mangos, tuna and a piña colada aside that was to die for. This is one of my fav restaurants in south Lake Tahoe, we come every... More

While visiting Tahoe, friends who live locally brought us here last year and again during our recent trip. They claim it's the best sushi and value in the area. And, they're fussy about their sushi. They were right. There was a great selection, and all we ordered was excellent. The restaurant itself is somewhat cramped and noisy. Service got a... More

Just returned home from Lake Tahoe. This is a casual, busy, all you can eat sushi restaurant. My first round of sushi was fine. My second round which included the salmon skin roll had a worm. As I took a bite a wiggly worm fell to the table. Disgusting.

We had a great meal here, and I would highly recommend Sushi Pier to those visiting Lake Tahoe. We did the all you can eat deal and stuffed ourselves silly with fresh, made-to-order sushi and awesome apps. My favorite cooked items were the Pier Poppers (yum) and the Tempura Upside Down Crab (double yum). I would also highly recommend the... More

Went this past weekend and had an amazing time. We were in the area hoping to go to another sushi place, but it was packed, so we "settled" for Sushi Pier. I was a little hesitant at first because it's advertised as an all you can eat sushi place (I'm thinking big, dirty sushi buffet with people pushing, rice everywhere,... More

My girlfriend and I checked out Sushi Pier this past weekend and absolutely loved it. Usually, all you can eat sushi is made in bulk and left out buffet style. This was made-to-order, great quality, and the all you can eat had an awesome selection. Four pages of the menu were open for the all you can eat. And they... More

We visit South Tahoe and have eaten at most of the sushi spots in town and tried to eat at Sushi Pier last year only to realize it was going to be a long wait (very popular). However, my wife and I got in on this last vacation and just loved it. The people there were very courteous and the... More

All you can eat sushi... They haven't re-invented the wheel. Just give you the opportunity to stuff your face with all you can eat sushi. Nice atmosphere with a very professional staff. Great for large groups...
