Try something with crystal shrimp

My husband and I both got 2 rolls we each really liked our rolls which had crystal shrimp the other ones were just meh. So try something with that. If you want to eat a lot they have an all you can eat option, but we didn't go for that cause we didn't want to overeat.

This isn't the best sushi in the world. However, it is good value with the all you can eat deal. We had to wait around 30 min to be seated. The place was full on a weekend evening. The sushi is not bad, for sushi in Nevada rolled by partially trained non Asians. Some of the fish is not the... More

Had the lunch buffet special for $20. A little pricey but well worth the money. Variety was great, with over 40 nigiris, long rolls, handrolls and appetisers to choose from. Quality was good as well, and the taste overall was just amazing for a buffet like this. Only downside I'd say is that the service was a bit slow but... More

While the service and friendly nature of the staff is enough to make you come back....the high quality FRESH tuna and salmon in an all-you-can-eat option is fantastic! Prices are competitive and kids are very welcome.

We normally go to Off the Hook for our Sushi fix but decided to try a different Sushi Restaurant and were very happy to have tried Sushi Pier. We arrived during Happy Hour quite by accident so beverages were half price which is nice. We started with the Stuffed Calamari and were so pleased with this appetizer. The calamari were... More

I didn't have high expectations but this place sure surprised me! The lunch combos are the best deal and so good! We were there with 4 people and everyone loved their plate! It was soooo good!

We were there yesterday, the 27th, for lunch. The place was pretty packed, so somebody must like the place. We'll not return. Sushi was loosely rolled and fell apart on the chop sticks. The flavor also left something to be desired. It was clear to me that the men making the sushi may have not have been well trained, and... More

Don't leave South Tahoe without a trip to the Sushi Pier. The cooks handle an amazing volume and everything is terrific. Always good, always friendly.

I've been a sushi eater for about 35 years and Sushi Pier has to be the best place yet! The chefs are experienced and friendly, the fish to rice ratio can't be beat. The fish is always very fresh and the variety of rolls and nigiri is terrific. If you're not at the bar the servers are readily available without... More
