Description: Brooks' Bar & Deck at Edgewood Tahoe is taking reservations for a limited number of tables. A majority of tables are held for walk in guests. Golf Digest selected Brooks' as one of the "Best 19th Holes in America", Brooks' has taken its place as a premier post-play watering hole. Offering great food and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with friends, Brooks' has become one of South Lake Tahoe's best restaurants that everyone can enjoy. With the Sierras in the distance, guests can relax on Brooks' expansive deck and take in the postcard-like views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe. Located off Edgewood Tahoe's picturesque 18th hole, this is home of one of the greatest sunsets of the world. Within, Brooks' feels very much like a sports bar: vaulted ceilings, glass windows, a handsome wooden build. The architecture belies the comfortable feel and attitude. Flatscreen TVs are tuned into the game of the day, the bar features a number of quality local brews.

I always gravitate to golf clubs. I like being around golfers and courses. Food at golf clubs has changed in the last decade. It got good. I was staying in South Lake Tahoe for some skiing and on a lark walked to the clubhouse. It is located on the lake and serves food inside in a comfortable room and outside... More

We like Brooks Bar for a lunch or drinks after golf, but for dinner it's the restaurant at Edgewood that wins. The setting, architecture, ambience, view are probably the top combination of those elements on the south shore of Tahoe. But you came to eat, right? You won't be disappointed. The Ahi, lamb, elk, and fish specials are all great...tough... More

Had an early lunch at Brooks Bar and Deck at the Edgewood Golf Course in Stateline (South Lake Tahoe). We shared the prime rib french dip sandwich which was excellent, iced tea, and a Moose Drool beer (I like the name more than the beer). We finished off by sharing the "chocolate thing" for dessert, the name of which escapes... More

Great food, views are amazing. The tacos were to die for, and the ahi tuna salad was excellent. Reasonable prices if you want a casual dinner, otherwise splurge next door at the club restaurant.

We had dinner at this restaurant at 5:30 pm. I know, kinda early, but it is the only way you can enjoy The Very Best Sunset View in South Lake Tahoe. You are looking at the lake from your table, with the Sierra Nevada Mountains behind, framed by huge cathedral windows in this beautiful Country Club's Dining Room. You can't... More

This restaurant has it all. Great food, nice ,relaxed atmosphere, not rushed. The menu was somewhat limited. Mainly a meat lovers menu of chicken, elk, lamb, duck, beef. The appetizers were very good. Large circular dining room with long, large windows that allow for a breathtaking views of the lake. The restaurant is on a golf course country club. We... More

The lunch here was amazing! Usually don't get excited over a salad and sandwich but he food here was outstanding. The Thai salad and turkey sandwich didn't sound exotic but they both were unique and delicious. We will make this a regular stop from now on.

Dropped in on the way to our rent house to check on our reservations. Beautiful lakeside setting and drive through the woods, not fully appreciated at night. Friendly staff placed our table front and center the next evening. Food and service were excellent, even the "water guy" who would pour your refill from about two feet above, without spilling a... The restaurant is good for the location (right in front of the lake) and for the chocolate tart! We had salad for lunch and it was ok, though not great and the wine menu is limited, but still, it was worth it!

It doesn't get much better than Brooks' Bar and Grill. Drive through the trees for an amazing retreat situated on the South shore of Lake Tahoe. Casual dining at the bar, no membership necessary to enjoy the grilled Salmon Sandwich with caper dill aioli. The Fried Calamari appetizer was a meal in itself with fried Artichoke Hearts and Green Beans.... More
