Best steak in Tahoe

The best views in Tahoe, great steak and seafood.....very good service. The prices are a little high for the food you get, but the overall experience makes it worth visiting.

Friday's Station was once what I would rate as a 4 or 5 Star restaurant. Today it is a 2 or 3 Star at best. They still have the best views in Tahoe, but there food and menu have become mediocre, especially for the price. There are better restaurants in South Lake Tahoe, minus the great view, with a much... Our group of eight were here to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, the service from our waiter, Mike, was excellent. The views are great and it is a great place for a memorable meal. Some appetizers, a couple of rounds of drinks, the meals and a couple of desserts came to about $650... More

This restaurant is popular because it is on HARRAH'S 18th floor with views of Lake Tahoe. Reservations are necessary. The menu is very pricey and the food overrated. I ordered a filet mignon with scampi, expecting to get a steak with 3 or 4 shrimp cooked scampi style. Instead, I got this tiny filet, maybe 2 oz., and a plate... More

Wanted to go where the temperature was a little coolers so decided on Tahoe. Decided on Harrahs based on friends recommendations. We got in late and chose Friday Station because we knew the view would be good. It was spectacular. We were treated to black and gray storm clouds and bright red-orange sunset. Wonderful service and salmon and king crab... More

We dined here last week. The ambience is excellent. You have an almost unobstructed view of the lake. We were fortunate enough to get a window seat. Although we were too early to see the sunset, we were able to watch a small quick rain shower actually cross from one side of the lake to the other. The service is... More

When we made our reservation we asked for a table by a window and they accommodated our request. Our server was the only let down of the entire experience. His unkempt appearance, his ill fitting clothes and attempt at bad humor all left us thinking we were in a pub. The food was as expected and quite good with one... More

This is the perfect spot for special occasions. On the 18th floor with stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Try to be there at sunset for a real treat and ask for a window table. The food is consistently good. I love the onion soup, although this time there was too much cheese, but it was still wonderful. We actually shared... More
