The new online reservation system worked well. The lobster roll was very tasty! But the service was incredibly slow. It took 25 minutes to get a glass of wine. The restaurant was not full when we arrived. They might have been understaffed with waitresses and waiters although there were plenty of hostesses and bus staff. The Nugget is being overhauled... The service was very good as was the food but the oyster shooters were great. We tried them all but my favorite was the bloody Mary shooter. My wife enjoyed the tequila shooter.

I wish I could come here every day, or at least once a week. I always want to try something new but I'm addicted to the pan roast. It's the best!

We have been been eating here for the last fifteen years. Quality has not changed, you can relay on them. In this day and age that's something to say.

Go to the bar and watch them make this sinful dish. Careful, you will be hooked. My favorite is the crab.

The oyster bar at the Nugget has been one of our family favorites for four generations. I have been enjoying the pan roasts here since I was about 8 year old and the restaurant was a real bar out in the casino. The poor man's ciopinno is fantastic if you don't want all the calories from the pan roast. We... More

Had a seafood dish with rice....and it was mostly all rice with very little flavor....the value of the meal really wasn't worth the price paid.

If you are trying to find a great sea food stew, then John A's Oyster Bar should be your first stop. If you want to enjoy a great meal and be entertained, then get a seat at the bar where you watch as each meal is prepared in the steam cookers. An experience you will remember for many years.
