Dive bar right near UNR

Lots of history in this old dive bar. Really crowded after sporting events. Decent drinks, very cold beer. Basic bar food. It's a small place, but worth bar-hopping through!

I can say I only had the Happy Hour here, but I was pretty impressed, nice service and a lot of food for your money

50 year traveling salesman says this is a terrific spot with great ambiance and excellent burgers and much more. Super service adds to first class restaurant.

The inside restaurant was very noisy and crowded with young people having a very good time. We sat outside which was very nice. Definitely sit outside if you don't want the noise. The food was good, big burgers and the nachos were great. Pulled pork sandwich not so great. The bun was so soggy I had to eat the sandwich... More

Stopped by for a drink on the way to the campus for a show. Drinks were easy and in our party of four one was a bottled beverage. Not busy. But still the service was poor. We had to gulp or drinks and run to make show time. Over the years have tried to go there but I am done.... More

Its got a decent ambience, all the wolf pack sports memorabilia from the last few decades. The beer was good. The wings and chicken sandwich were okaayyyy..... i think students might be a little less choosey - but this place isn't priced cheap so I am surprised students can go there. Its right next to UNR campus, so thats what... More

This place may be a big deal with the locals and UNR students, but we're from out of town and just wanted a good burger, and this historic restaurant sounded interesting so we gave it a try. If you want you weekly allotment of sodium in one meal... this is for you. My wife had the personal size pizza, I... More

What a deal. Buy one burger get a second for a penny. Thats right a penny. Every sunday. Watch sports, have a beer and try the jiffy burger. Surprisingly very good. Who would of thought peanut butter in a burger would be that good. Alos the atmostphere is very rustic. Good family place as well. But careful using the restrooms.... More

Pizza was good and as it turns out half priced on Monday. Had a large group so went to the back room and it was quiet and out of the rush. Overall good place for a beer

Nice Happy Hour menu. If I came back here again, I'd get the taco salad and fry bread again. The taco salad came in this nice flour tortilla bowl. Mom had the Kickass Chili and really enjoyed it. It came piled high with cheese. She also liked the fish and chips.
