Had an amazing time here...again. Love Lulou's atmosphere and ambiance. Pork-belly and fois gras appetizers were fabulous. Loved the spicy Thai duck soup and brussel sprout salad. Great wine list. Dessert, unfortunately was a complete disappointment. Overall a great time!

Prices for steak were higher than they should be. The place itself is somewhat small and not all that fancy. Foods good, however I expected more for the price and hype. Service was good and some appetizers we're very good and others just ok. For steak I think there's a lot of better options locally.

We have been searching for a fine dining restaurant since we moved here. Lulou's, though not known of by many, was consistently recommended who did know of it. They do not have a web menu to preview but we took the recommendation on faith and our faith was rewarded. They are only open evenings for dinner and feature an adventurous... More

Went with my siblings for a Friday night dinner. We split 3 appetizers and enjoyed all three. The entrees were also good, two of us had scallops, two of us had steak. We were seated on the patio which was comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite being right up against a busy street, the fence did a good job damping the... More

I really want to love this place because the food really was great. But my brain is holding me back because of how incredibly pretentious it was. I mean...it's not far from a divey looking nude cabaret and a bunch of adult "bookstores" on the main road going through downtown Reno, and yet they get away with charging you massive... More

Great dining experience. We had the calamari, carpaccio and the crab cake for appetizers. All were very good! There were four in our party and we got to taste everyone's. I had the June salad then the duck Thai soup for my main course. I wouldn't order the salad again but the soup was stellar. My husband had the duck... More

Very nice service and wonderful food. The menu is inventive and interesting. Prices are high but not outrageous. Our total bill for 2 apps, 2 entrees and two good sized glasses of wine was $160 including tax and tip.

If you are looking for fresh, creative (without being over the top), and just simply great tasting food, LuLou's is the place. The service is always outstanding as well. We always start with the hamachi and cervice (a little spicy for some, but amazing) and end up struggling to decide between the New York Strip, Scallops, or the Colorado Lamb.... More

They call their cuisine New American and it is delicious. I had the fried quail with a pumpkin bisque to begin. Both were perfectly prepared and well presented. While the meal was on the expensive side (we joked that all entrees were around $39) it was worth the visit. Our service was first class, the house wine was well matched,... More
