Great dining experience. We had the calamari, carpaccio and the crab cake for appetizers. All were very good! There were four in our party and we got to taste everyone's. I had the June salad then the duck Thai soup for my main course. I wouldn't order the salad again but the soup was stellar. My husband had the duck... More

Very nice service and wonderful food. The menu is inventive and interesting. Prices are high but not outrageous. Our total bill for 2 apps, 2 entrees and two good sized glasses of wine was $160 including tax and tip.

If you are looking for fresh, creative (without being over the top), and just simply great tasting food, LuLou's is the place. The service is always outstanding as well. We always start with the hamachi and cervice (a little spicy for some, but amazing) and end up struggling to decide between the New York Strip, Scallops, or the Colorado Lamb.... More

They call their cuisine New American and it is delicious. I had the fried quail with a pumpkin bisque to begin. Both were perfectly prepared and well presented. While the meal was on the expensive side (we joked that all entrees were around $39) it was worth the visit. Our service was first class, the house wine was well matched,... More

I was pleasantly surprised when moving to Reno that there is some GREAT food here, so makes for stiff competition between restaurants. Don't get me wrong, Lulou's is very good, very fresh and the menu is interesting, but for the $$$ I have done better elsewhere. They are a teensy bit snooty which is also weird in Reno - there... Wow, we are so lucky to have a restaurant like this in Reno. Outstanding food and service. Cool mid-town location. Menu changes frequently and is always awesome.

Interesting restaurant right on the outskirts of the casino areas of Reno Nevada. I came here with colleagues on a business trip. I started with a perfectly made Bombay Sapphire bone-dry martini. For dinner I started with a wonderful Porcini Soup, followed by Roasted duck breast and macaroni with truffles with foie gras! For dessert I had decadent chocolate concoction... More

I went here because it was reviewed as Italian. HOWEVER, it is FAR from if. Think California High End Bistro and that is far closer to the mark. Reservations are recommended but I came early Saturday evening so I slipped in under the radar. Ambience is business casual but NO jeans or sneakers. A little bit Art Deco with black... More

And try to eat there everytime I am in town. Food is always fabulous, as is the service. The Baked Lobster is to die for.

I had heard very nice things about Lulou's and was disappointed. Everything from the service to the food was little better than mediocre.
