Off the beaten path...and in a strip mall, surprisingly. But the dinner we recently had at Luciano's in Reno was fantastic and worth the drive off of the main drag. We were attending a concert at Silver Legacy for my birthday and wanted a good Italian meal - Luciano's did not disappoint. The olive oil with fresh garlic/basil & peppers... More

Upon arriving we sat at the bar for a cocktail we were greeted by a nice lady. We order the drinks(way overpriced for the quality of wine that was served) we sat for dinner and I ordered chicken saltambucca. What I received was a flattened out undercooked piece of chicken(not even sure it was a breast) with a foul tasting... More

We like these kinds of restaurants, as opposed to the chains found all over Reno. The place was very busy on a Friday night about 8:00, but they found us a table quickly. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, which was huge as expected. The dish was fine could have used more zip. Others in my party ordered the Ravioloni which... More

Not only does Luciano's have fabulous food, wine and service, they now have live music on Saturday nights starting at 6pm. Last night was Jazz player, Colin Ross, who made the dining experience twice as wonderful. I had the absolutely delicious Porcini Mushroom Ravioli With a sauce to die for. Other family members who dined with me raved about their... More

This wonderful small but delighful restaurant and bar is fantastic. You are always greeted by the owner who makes you feel very welcome. The Italian cusuine is the best. Prepared to perfection. The fresh fish is superb, the pasta entrees, the veal , calamari, I could go on and on. You cannot go wrong with your choice. The tirimusu is... More

Looked like a strip mall place but they had tablecloths and our friends wanted to try it. Don't bother. Even the proseco was flat. The food was heavy and overdone. The expensive dessert our friend got since we were paying was some brownish strawberry stuff. Jeesh!.

Enjoyed a great meal and great service. Salads were served on cold plates and fresh! Vodka sauce was tasty. Fettuccine alfredo and lasagna were good. Bread was fresh. Italian music to go along with the great food. Service was prompt. Great out of the way place that appeared to be where the locals eat.

This is a lovely little Italian restaurant and bar. A definite favorite of locals, it is nestled in a small shopping area of southwest Reno close to Lakeridge Golf Course. Luciano's is typically Italian from the music to the food. Atmosphere is pleasant and somewhat romantic. I would rate the food as being consistently very good and moderately priced. I... More

My wife and I eaten at Luciano's many times and always enjoy it. It’s a local’s place and we always see the regulars sitting at the bar drinking and eating. I think there are some people who go there every day. It can get pretty noisy at Luciano’s in the evening, but on our recent visit it was the perfect... More
