We were guests of a couple celebrating their twenty-ninth Anniversary. Everyone in the party ordered the ten ounce prime rib but I ordered the 16 oz. So tender that you could cut it with a butter knife. I had the Caesar salad, but alas, the cherry tomatoes were over ripen. Otherwise, it was a simplified version of a wedge....good but... More

You should change your menu on computer - still had Steak Diane on it. You also did away with dutch crunch rolls. I came with friends specifically for my birthday and my favorite, Steak Diane. Did not enjoy my rib eye as well.

I am very reluctant to go out on mother's day because service and food usually suffers, almost no matter where you go. However, we were pleased at Cactus Creek. We had reservations (evening, not brunch). We were seated immediately. Service was very attentive. The key--my mother really enjoyed it.

My husband and I had dinner here last weekend. We ordered two of the 16oz prime rib dinners with salad and one side. We also had a glass of wine and an appetizer. The tab was under $100.00. Everything was excellent, and the "prime" rib was the best I have ever had anywhere, including Lawry's. I do not agree that... More

Karen, Thank you for your stellar review! I am glad you mentions Lawry's Prime Rib as that has always been my model of excellence for Prime Rib. Having lived in Los Angeles for many years, Lawry's was a favorite of so many people I know and all love the Prime Rib. Our USDA Prime Rib is EXACTLY the same Prime... More

If you don't mind paying an arm and a leg for good prime rib, this is your place. We ordered two 16 oz Prime Ribs which were excellent and thick. We were also given a basket of 3 rolls while we waited to be served which went quickly. We finally had to ask for more bread after about 10 minutes... More

Took our adult daughter here for quiet birthday. Waiter was excellent, and even too rich for the restaurant. We were told it was full, and had to come in 30 minutes before we wanted to. Restaurant was only half full for a Sat. night, so that wasn't accurate. Dinner was very good, steak and pork chop...we split the steak and... More

We went here with friends on our last night in Reno, the food was excellent, the service very good and the food one of the best meals we had. Went to Cactus Creek with friends recently. The ladies had the pan roast and the scallops. Both of those dishes were very good, the pan roast boasts mussels but my wife found not many. The lobster was wonderful. Excellent. My husband's filet mignon was beautiful while mine was terrible. Overcooked. Should be medium rare was medium. Not good for a filet. The service was ok but they never asked why I didn't eat my filet. The salad ans side dishes were delicious.
