Local newspaper advertisements show #1 rating in the city. Don't think so! Called for reservations at 6pm on a Sunday night. Sorry - we can do 6:30 Ok - we agreed. Arrived at 5:55 and asked if we should go to the lounge as we were early. Oh NO, I can seat you right now. There were 3 table occupied... More

Well if you are looking to go back twenty years in time here is your perfect destination. decor a mess, plastic flowers everywhere. The topper is the howling moon. Your worst interior designer could do this place justice. The salads are twenty years old . Cold tomatoes with an attempt to add some pea sprouts that should be cut two... More

Constructive feedback is very important to us here at Cactus Creek. We have taken some time to thoroughly vet the comments in your review. We are happy that you found our prime rib satisfactory. Our 100% "USDA Prime", Prime Rib is slow cooked for 12-14 hours. As you experienced; it is exceptionally tender. We take great pride in preparing it... More

We decided to go to Cactus Creek for Valentine's Day (a day earlier because they were booked until late on the day itself). We hadn't been for several years but fondly remembered its prime quality beef. Well, we were let down. Service is terrific, seating comfortable, but the ambience leaves much to be desired since they have white spot lights... More

We were dressed rather casually for a fine dining experience but were treated well in every regard. We ordered different things at our table for four, and each entree and side was both delicious and carefully presented.

The Cactus Creek SteakHouse had been recommended to my wife and I by many of our Reno friends so we thought we would give it a try. We signed up for the Nickel & Nickel wine paired dinner and were really disappointed. The roasted winter vegetables were terrible. Dry,, tasteless and poorly presented. The pan seared, oven finished squab was... More

We dine here with friends every Thanksgiving and also at other times. We did all get a lovely garden salad with dinner. I had lamb and had expected a rack of lamb but instead it was sliced lamb in a sauce with vegetables and other side dishes all stacked up. I thought the stacking of food was going out of... More

I live in Reno and had heard good things from various people, but c'mon. It is inside the Bonanza Casino. How good could it be, really? The food was great! I love a good ribeye syeak, but the one I had here was the best I've ever had. Even better than the $64 wagyu steak I had once in Seattle!... More
