Easy to see why this restaurant is ranked so high! Wanted breakfast and it was 10:30 a.m. and didn't want a hotel buffet. Short drive (could walk) from the downtown casino's. Simple cafe with booths and tables. Friendly staff. Portions are HUGE! My omelette had to be 5 or so eggs. Definately could have shared. Rather have a smaller omelette... More

If you want a great simple but quality place with great service and a huge assortment this is the best in Reno. Menu ranges from lox eggs onion scramble to the best biscuits gravy waffles and pancakes. Great food at affordable prices. Hugeeee portions so sharing is suggested. Good coffee to.

Huge breakfasts with a diner environment. Most customers seemed to be regulars from judicial buildings around. Very busy, but we went early and didn't have a wait. Loved my Belgian waffle in a flower shape!

The first time I went here, I ordered Huevos Rancheros- I got a whole skillet of food! I wasn't able to finish it, which was unfortunate, because it was SOOOOO good! I highly recommend Peg's, but come with an appetite!

Yes, this place cost more but the portions are HUGE!!! No only is the breakfast wonderful but you'll be shocked at the size & portions of food. Their skillet breakfast are HUGE!!!! Also, your dogs always welcome if you sit at an outdoor table. When I bring my pooch the waitress actually bring my dog a water bowl when she... More

Locally owned and managed small chain with interesting menu. Food is exceptional and the service is friendly and welcoming. The Sierra Omelet is a good choice, but you can't go wrong with any of the selections.

Hubby and I checked out this place on our second-to-last day in Reno - that's the only disappointing thing I can say. It was SO good that we came back the next day. Wish we had tried it sooner. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The manager greets everyone and remembered us from the first time we came. But... More

This review is of the new location in Sparks - I had the veggie eggs benedict and my husband had one of the skillets - WOW - it was the best breakfast I have had in a long time! I ordered grits with mine - being from Louisiana I was thrilled to see it on the menu but a bit... More

It truly is a peg above the usual diner. Large portions, and also tasty and not so greasy as your typical greasy spoon. I had the huevos rancheros. Eggs were perfectly done, with a nice red sauce. The hash browns appear to be steamed, and hence not greasy. Really liked them that way. Even the coffee was a step above... More
