Great First Visit

This is a very good steakhouse. My strip was prepared exactly as requested. The wine selection was excellent and fairly priced, espeially after the 50% discount on the promo being run. The decor is a bit dated but very clean. Noise level was not a problem and could converse easily. Willdefinitely... read more

Do you ever think about what casinos were like back in the 60's when the Rat Pack ruled Nevada and Sammy and friends performed in Reno? Well, come downstairs below the casino floor to the amazingly preserved wonder that is Harrah's Steak house. Down the stairs, around the corner and through heavy oak door, you go through a time warp... More

We decided to go to the Steakhouse at Harrahs, based on a recommendation of a local. The service and atmosphere is what a high end steakhouse is supposed to be. We had a "Team" waiting on us led by Bong - "James Bong". We ordered the Chateaubriand for 2. The quality was top notch. My wife and I have been... More

Hands down the steakhouse at Harrahs is the best in Reno classy, charming, great service and excellent food. From the sorbet to the steak everything is incredible. Pricey but worth every cent

Great service, food, private room & unique presentation! We were spoiled, just remember the price is pretty steep. Also, don't forget to apply the charges to your players card!

Your steakhouse in the basement? Sounded a little iffy to us considering the price, but we gave it a try - and are we ever glad we did! The restaurant was elegant and intimate. The service was awesome and the servers wore tuxedos. We were brought goblets of lemon sorbet and a server poured champagne over the sorbet to cleanse... More

In some ways eating at Harrah's steakhouse is like travelling to a casino restaurant 20-30 years in the past. The staff is dressed in tuxedos, there are 2-3 staff that wait on the table led by the captain, much of the food is either prepared or carved table side, and the decor is dark and classic. There are nice touches... More

Nestled in the basement of Harrah's is one of the finest dining experiences I have had in years! Top notch menu, service above and beyond, with an ambiance to match. Every element was memorable from the Champagne to cleanse our palate, hot towels at the end of our meals to "smoking dry ice chocolate" offering. Well worth the diversion from... More

This was the classiest place to eat in Reno. It's still a good place to eat, although a little pricey. The steaks are good but not the best in Reno. It seems like all the special things they did are gone. I liked, but did not love, the Snoopy Salad. Service is still good.

We keep hoping for a successful experience, and have yet to see one. Typically it is hit and miss with the dishes coming out of the kitchen. However, this time, it was a totally disappointing dining experience. Our wait person was outstanding and really appeared to be embarrassed by the food coming from the kitchen. She removed item after item... More
