The staff made this chain restaurant stand out

Food is similar to other Claim Jumpers we have been at. Difference was the staff. We made a couple of request with our good and they didn't even blink an eye. They accommodated each request and the food was hot when it arrived. We found this one quieter than most of this chain even though it was... read more

Took my Mom there last week, we had the most amazing salads. She the Cobb (enough for 3 meals) and me the Steak Salad (sorry don't remember what it was called). They were delicious and the service by (?Beatrice?) was excellent. Will definitely revisit!!!

My wife and I new to Reno, NV decided to have Dinner at the Claim Jumper Restaurant at the 4905 S. Virginia St. location. I ordered the Bar-B-Q Baby Back Rib Dinner with Baked Potato. My wife ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes. Our waiter provided us with excellent service throughout the meal. After everyone's drinks were brought... More

As a retired law enforcement officer my wife and I can spot a scam when we see it. My wife and I are visiting Reno and happened to be driving past the Claim Jumper restaurant on South Virginia St so we decided to stop because we like the Landry's chain. We had heard that the Claim Jumper gives a 15%... More

I don't know where to start . Last time I went there was probably back in 2010 and had some VERY important clients come to town and asked about Steak and was interested in this As we drove by and they pointed it i was cringing because many people I know have left this dump very unhappy . The had... More

This place is a chain, but they do a great job. The food was fresh, the workers were extra pleasant and the place was clean. Right before we left, a waiter came by and was very apologetic because his shift just started and he thought we might be leaving since he was inattentive - nice change from other places. I... More

We had 3 different servers and none of them knew what the other was doing. Our first server did even ask how we liked our meat. they were out of bake potatoes and did tell us just gave us mash potatoes and brought us a baked sweet potato

The restaurant was very clean and was easy on the eyes. We were greeted as we entered and we were seated right away. The service was good and fast. The food was very good and came at a reasonable time. The sever was very personable and made the evening a pleasant time. I would recommend this place to all.

We took the family for the Early Dinner (4 pm to 5:30 pm, Mon-Fri.) Shrimp and tri-tip was enjoyed by all - for less than half the normal dinner price. We all added salads - all yummy!. We each had enough leftovers for lunch the following day! Ordered one piece of the chocolate motherlode cake (OUTSTANDING!) to go - and... More

The potatocakes at this place are awesome! I also had baby back pork ribs which were delicious, but the potatocakes... wow!! The first thing you see when you get in is a huge chocolate cake, there was no way I was getting out of there without trying that cake! I'm so glad I did because it was great! The server... More
