The menu advertised special selections for that was somewhat misleading. I ordered the bbq ribs thinking it was $9.99 but the bill charged $13.99. When I asked it was starting at $9.99 and had 4 other items showing higher prices. I thought the ribs were in the $9.99 category. The ribs were worth $13.99 but I questioned the misleading menu.... We really enjoyed the food, we loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. We would have given it a 5 star but I think our waitress was new or overwhelmed. She just was not what we were used to since we have been to other claim jumpers. We will be coming back when we're ever in Reno again.

I stopped in for a dinner with my 7-year old son. We were travel-weary and needed something that would go down easy, and my son is a picky eater so we needed something kid-friendly. We had ordered take-out from Claim Jumper on an earlier trip so the place was familiar to us, with kitsch-lite ambience with a slight 1800's mining... More

On our way home from Tahoe, We looked for a place to eat. Since CJ is a part of Laundry's we thought it would be god (they own Morton's, Chart House, etc.) It was terrible. My coconut shrimp was so over cooked. I think it sat under the dreaded warmer (my worst dining nightmares) far to long. The sauce was... More

I love the potato soup. However, the wait staff was slow to greet us :( but at least the food was hot.

For a chain restaurant, Claim Jumper is a good bet for solid food and good service. There can be a wait during lunch and dinner times, but they run it pretty efficiently. The menu is quite diverse, and the desserts are impressive. I've always liked the Cobb salad and the Widowmaker burger is also a winner. The only real downside... More

We met a group of friends for dinner at Claim Jumper. It was a fairly short walk from Atlantis. The menu choices cover just about anything you'd want. The "Early" special menu had a lot of choices and the baby back ribs were amazing. It's a bit out of the way if you are staying in the downtown area of... More

Always great food and great service too. Pepperoni calzone was full of meat and cheese. Our server was so pleasant and very attentive. She kept my ice tea full and beer for my husband.

Ate here twice during our Reno visit, the first time with a friend who is local. LOVED the Caesar salad dressing. Had good food and great service each time we went. Huge menu, not sure they can do everything on there well, but we liked everything we ordered. The décor is rustic, animal mounts. My only suggestion would be for... More
