My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a wonderful meal at 4th St. Bistro. The location made you feel that you were not in Reno (no neon or casinos). A sweet little bistro with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed the appetizer of fried squash blossoms stuffed with cheese and the soup was a light tomato puree. I had... More

Our second meal at 4th St. Bistro was fabulous and the service was great! The food is not only delicious, well prepared and beautifully presented but is also inventive and interesting. Amazingly, my mother was visiting us and complaining about everything but she loved this place and never said a single unkind word (it's a miracle!!). We plan to go... More

This was a surprise, away from the tawdry scene downtown. Definitely French inspired with inventive dishes and exceptional service. It is a true bistro, and has that feel of the French countryside with the owners overlooking everything. A dining experience rather than the rush of similar restaurants. Tables are nicely separate, very private and very romantic. The duck confit was... More

My go to spot for dinner when I am in Reno. French Bistro ambience inside, and wonderful patio dining outside. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. Great service. The menu changes with the seasons, so you are sure to get the freshest seasonal items when you dine there. I've had the salmon and halibut, which are always cooked to... More

It's not that the food was bad, it was actually good. But very French and with an attitude. The staff had a bit of an attitude as well. I can't really express why i didn't jump for joy. I was there several years ago and left with the same feeling. It was rather pricy. I do know a lot of... More

Really enjoyed our recent visit to the 4th St. Bistro. The location is ideal and the feel of the place in nice. We had the broccoli soup as a starter which was excellent, the texture was amazing. My wife had the fish and I had a Basque style steak, both were quite good. The chocolate tart and poppy seed angle... More

Very nice setting and atmosphere as always. But the food was not up to par this last visit. Just average main course. This surprised us and we were not pleased with the lamb preparation. The staff was excellent, soup excellent as well.

It's a very nice and quiet restaurant away from the casinos. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They also have a good wine selection. It's a locals favorite.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a delightfully memorable dinner that began with a Fois Gras that has me salivating as I write this review! Our main course was filet mignon that was cooked to perfection, rating a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. Superlatives express every aspect of our fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend 4th Street Bistro for... More
