Nice Dinner

Our server Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful. When the #11 sirloin was so tough we couldn't get a fork into it, it was replaced with an upgrade at no extra charge. After that it was delicious and fast. The 1/2 ribs were so tender. It's very noisy in there and that lessens the experience.

We enjoyed our meal, good price and perfectly done steak. We had a drink for happy hour at the bar before dinner. It seems really difficult to mess up a vodka tonic but there was so little carbonation in the tonic we did not enjoy our drinks during the happy hour. Happy hour was interesting pricing. Just less ounces of... More

The meat was very good but everything else was way too greasy for my taste. There are far better steakhouses in Reno that have less oily food.

Having eaten twice at the Outback in Daly City the week earlier we eat here knowing the service we could expect here. Suffice to say, this one fell way short. We waited 45 minutes to be seated and we were right next to the service doors for the waiting staff. Starter was fine, but then the main meals were delivered... More

Took my wife for Valentine's Day celebration on the Monday after. She doesn't like big crowds. With her tiny appetite, she had the Coconut Shrimp App with a side of Steamed Vegetables as her dinner. Both were excellent, particularly the well known and liked Coconut Shrimp. I had the Peppered Seared Ahi app, followed by the New York Strip. The... More

The food is a cut above most steakhouses, the service was excellent, the atmosphere could use some work, but after all I am there for the food.If your order is wrong, send it back, your paying for it. If you take the time to write a complaint, take the time to make them make it the way you want it.

I have been to other Outback Steakhouses many times in Texas and always had wonderful meals with excellent service. This was my first visit to this Outback Steakhouse in Reno, Nevada and I was very disappointed with the poor and slow service received along with very undercooked meat. Started the order with coffee with cream & sugar but was not... More

About three years ago we visited the Outback Steakhouse on S, Virginia St. in Reno Nv. We ordered steaks and they were over cooked and not to our liking. The waitress gave us some lame excuses and we grinned and barred it and finished our meal and vowed never to return. But, on a Christmas shopping trip to Reno, we... More

Wife and I had a very good steak dinner. Portions were a little small, but very good. A waiter walking by had a receipt fly off their tray and it hit my wife in the corner of her eye, causing a small blood vessel break. The manager immediately came over and showed concern. We will return when we come to... More
