Good Food, Friendly Atmosphere

My family and I went in for brunch on Sunday morning. The food was good. Very friendly staff. A little pricey. The eating area is a bit small.

Food at Wet Hen Cafe has improved since they opened. It is better than Denny's but doesn't rise to that level of being special like you get with Peg's or some of the other restaurants. So I can't give it four stars.

Highly rated on TripAdivsor. Took the family for a late-ish breakfast. You order at the counter from the overhead menu. Inexpensive, ordered a slice of quiche, couple of orders of biscuits and gravy with sausage, strawberry crepes, and a tuna sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their food. Noticed the locals were friendly and came in at a steady clip.

We had lunch at the Wet Hen and it was very good. We had a Spinach Salad and a Grilled Tuna Melt. Both were tasty, and served promptly. The restaurant is small with only about 7 tables. You order your food, get a number, sit at a table, and the food is served to you. Total cost before tax and... More

Let me start by saying I boycotted this place for a long time because my chinese resturant was in the location and I was mad the Wet Hen took over. Well, that was my loss, this place is great. Quiche, coffee and huge sandwiches. Outdoor seating is a bonus in the spring. Love this place. We order to go on... More

Anytime I can get fresh roasted turkey cooked that day I am one very happy customer. My turkey sandwich, the Gobbler, complete with cranberry sauce, was delicious! This is a restaurant that treats everyone special and remembers the true meaning of great customer service. A very special experience awaits you as soon as you walk in the door.

I enjoy coming here for breakfast and lunch as they are in close proximity to my home and office and they have fast friendly service in a clean and cozy environment. The food is always absolutely fresh and delicious with generous portion sizes and served by friendly waitstaff. I have recommended them to many of my friends and family members.

My husband, two young daughters and I have gone a few times to eat breakfast here! We love it! Every time we have been welcomed with a friendly hello and are nicely asked how everything is during our stay. It is delicious and the kids pancakes are adorable bear shaped! My 4 year old loves them! If you haven't tried... More
