Sorry it didn't make it. The food was good and reasonably priced. Perhaps too reasonably and that's the reason they're gone

This restaurant closed on November 14, 2012. It will be missed. I had dined there the day before, and enjoyed the meat loaf and cold draft beer. Visit another Firkin Pub, the Firkin and Fox in Carson City, whichbrings together both Pub ambiance and excellent food.

For whatever reason we wanted dinner earlier than normal, around 4:30pm. The food was unforgettable... unforgettably DISAPPOINTING. So sad. There was only one other table seated in the place at the time and maybe the kitchen was just getting going for the day... My husband ordered the special, a nummy sounding stew. This is really good food, English pub fare, and the service was excellent, The portions are very big. Our table had fish and chips, chicken pot pie and a turkey sandwich with avocado and mango chutney. It's great to eat at a place that can satisfy many different tastes. We highly recommend Firkin and Wolf.

The calamari was not very good and they have an odd concept of what apple cobbler is. Ours was served with a bottom pie crust and not that much crumble on top. The apples were oddly... More

This is a delightful respite from most franchise restaurants. The menu is varied and a break from the carbon copy menus we're so familiar with.

I can't actually testify as to the food and drink quality. Looked good on the menu for a bar type restaurant, but as far as reality goes...I can't say. They seated us on a Saturday afternoon, after the lunch rush, and it wasn't very busy at all. We were seated and we waited.......and waited.....and waited.....and waited.....and 20 minutes later still... More
