Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Owner couldn't have been nicer. Outdoor seating. Food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options, but they could add some veg/vegan tapas. Wine list a bit short. Right in downtown, outdoor seating next to parking lot, but didn't bother us much. You can't get bette than this in Reno.

Everything is executed nicely on the menu but not a lot of choices. No octopus, only 2 beef selections. Sangria was great had the white, started with olives, had there prawns which were great, beef kabobs which were super small for no real reason. Pork which was super heavy on the garlic but cooked nicely. Overall the meal was good... More

A great Spanish Tempranillo to go with your small plates, otherwise known by the Spanish name of Tapas. My favorite dish is asparagus straws. The skewers are tasty, both chicken and steak. The Spanish guitar music in the background transports you out of Reno and into Spain. The owner is ever present and the staff is friendly and professional

I was jazzed to try this Tapas restaurant in Reno as it has great reviews but what a disappointment it was! While the Gazpacho was admittedly very good and other tapas fairly tasty (Tortilla Espanola, Lobster puffs...), the Paella was absolutely awful. It consisted of steamed, white, Uncle Bens-type rice (as opposed to rounded grain, liquid-absorbing rice like Calasparra, Bomba... More

The food is always fresh and the flavors are amazing !!! Great Place to go even if you just want a small snack. Fruit & Cheese plate is perfect with a glass of wine and good conversation. Service is great. Special Happy Hours too !!! I have lived here in Reno over 35 years and this is my favorite !!!

Right away the maître d welcomed our group of three into the busy Friday night restaurant. We did not have reservations but the maître d made us a spot at the bar within 15 minutes. The menu had a great selection of tapas and fortunately we were able to get through 10 items. Each of the tapas selected was great,... More

Modern decor contrasts well with the traditional tapas menu. This restaurant offers many special evening events where you can take advantage of great food and drinks at lower prices. It is just across the street from the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts which makes it perfect for those planning an evening there. Parking is in front or on streets along... More

We had a great time dining at Fuego. Our server was delightful and made great recommendations for our 3 school aged kids. The garlic shrimp was a big hit as were the Brussels sprouts, steak and the churros with chocolate. Great ambiance and dining experience.

Visited due to the good reviews here, and the fact we don't have Tapas locally. We had 6 dishes between us and it was a good amount of food. Loved the garlic shrimp, happy the waitress brought us extra bread, as we didn't want to waste that sauce. The meatballs were yummy, and obvious that the tomato sauce was made... More
