Last Friday night, we decided to do happy hour at Napa Bistro. Not only is it the best value in Reno, it is also my favorite place. I hardly know where to start. First of all, the service is friendly and speedy. The menu is varied enough to suit just about anyone and the prices are more than reasonable. The... More

You will not be disappointed. Everything was wonderful. Sides were shared with the table. Everyone raved about all of them.

First, I absolutely loved the ambiance of Bistro Napa! It was lovely! We sat down and I was impressed with the social hour. There is a great array of wines, spirits and cocktails to choose from.

We went there during their half price cocktail hour, 4-6 pm, thinking we'd have some appetizers and then dinner, but ending up trying about 6-7 of their appetizers because they were all sooo good that we ended up making that our dinner instead! Everything from the Kobe beef sliders to the pizzas to the Asian lettuce wraps were absolutely wonderful!... More

We returned to dine at Bistro Napa to welcome in the New Year (a bit late as it was January 2). We had oysters. I had their French Onion Soup and their butternut squash ravioli. Both were excellent. My husband enjoyed his salad and the Lobster ravioli. For dessert of course Innskillen Ice Wine and a truffle. Their complementary appetizer... More

New Years Eve, early dinner became an instant tradition 2 years ago when we discovered Chef Clay at Bistro Napa. The food has always been fresh and creative, with multiple layers of flavor in every plate. Small plate, large plates, Deserts, we have eaten our way through most of the menu, all are excellent; and, Cotton Candy On every table... More

Started by sharing a terrific bowl of steamed manila clams in a broth I would have been willing to finish, but needed room for main course. I had Scallops Rockefeller, my husband had Chilean sea bass w/giant shrimp. Both were excellent with delicious sides. Topped off by complimentary strawberry shortcake for our anniversary, and then cotton candy!! Definitely on our... More

We had a wonderful dinner at the Napa Bistro this past New Years Eve. Decided to skip the Special (didn't like the appetizer or desert they choose) and decided to go all out and have there 18 oz bone in rib eyes. One of the best looking steaks ever set on a plate. Tender, juicy and brushed with a sauce/glaze... More

The social hour at the bar of the Bistro Napa is from 4-6 daily. The drinks (not just house wine and beer) plus all of the appetizers are half price. The food is outstanding. It's great to share so one can try different items. Get there early because this value is NOT a secret. The restaurant also has great food,... More
