Both my husband and son lived in Mexico for awhile and love eating here. When my son comes to visit he always makes sure he has a Viva Zapatas meal. Our favorite thing about Zapatas is the man who provides live music at night. His music just makes me happy. The food is fresh and filling and always well prepared... More

Excellent food with absolutely the best flavor! Service was great and very personal. May be hard to park there but it is worth the effort!

In Las Vegas for the Nascar races and read about Viva Zapatas on line. Voted Best Mexican Restaurant in Vegas in 2012 and we couldn't agree more. The food and drinks were outstanding and the service was equally excellent. Friendly and extremely efficient staff. Wished we had eaten here sooner or were staying longer so we could go back. Will... Even though I've written a review before, I do come here often now & I want to write another one. The service here is 5 out of 5 every time. You wont' even get to the bottom of your drink before they are re-filling it. Whoever trains the staff should get a raise. Quick service & great food. I had... More

I always said that you do not want your Mexican food to be too authentic. I stand corrected. This is a great blend of authentic Mexican recipes and quality food. This is not your cookie cutter Mexican restaurant, but my palette had tiny issues. We arrived early Sunday evening and could only get a table at the bar. I loved... More

We were driving through on our way to Salt Lake City and stumbled across Viva Zapatas. It was a wonderful find. It seems to be a big favourite of locals, as it was almost full on a Sunday at 11:00 am. Chips were brought to the table with salsa and bean dip. The chips are so fresh, no mistaking them... More

Stopped here for lunch and was very satisfied. The food was plentiful and priced right. Margaritas were the standard mix, and all staff members were outstanding from the hostess to the busboys. Would return if in the area.

Worked three straight days one year ago at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and normally would have tried three different restaurants in three nights. But instead; my colleague and I visited Viva Zapata the first night and that was that; ate there every night. Food, atmosphere, service, and the Margaritas were all great. I'm about to get up and pack right... More

This place is a keeper. Next trip west I WILL make sure we swing by. The guacamole is perfect (not sure how else to describe it). The chorizo taco and cheese enchilada were heaven. I added this to my Trip Advisor just to make sure I know exactly where to go on my next cross country road trip.

We ate dinner here one night and delayed our lunch another day so we could go ahead. We started with the fresh, made-at-your-table guacamole. It was outstanding. We had enchiladas, a shrimp dish and pork carnitas. Everything was great. It was probably the best Mexican food I have had in years. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable.
