Lively, lovely lunch

We happened by just after noon on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised with live music and authentic decor. Service was quick, chips came with salsa and bean dip, both of which were delightful. Our meal arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Vegas.

We were in the area and looked on Trip Advisor for a restaurant and found Viva Zapatas. First thing we noticed was the service. The waiters were very friendly and during the meal they would come by and ask if everything is alright. When we asked for a box to go they came to the table and boxed the left... More

A very authentic Mexican restaurant. I am always impressed with a Mexican restaurant when there are many Mexicans eating there. My wife had a huge rib eye steak that she could barely finish. I went the easy route with a beef taco and beef enchilada. All excellent. Service was excellent and there was live Mexican music.

This is on the north end of vegas. I love the food, the price is high but its worth it. We ate here twice on this trip.

We never miss a meal at Viva Zapata when we pass through Las Vegas. We discovered it accidentally but return again and again very intentionally. The food is excellent, the menu comprehensive, but what impresses me is the staff. They perform like they have been trained by a very high end European wait staff. The service is what turns a... What can I say this place is great, they offer some delicious yet affordable selections. Their lunchtime menu starts at 8.99 for two tacos, rice and beans. You like guacamole? Oh man they make their guac at your table in front of you and Wow is it tasty. If mexican food is your vice then this place is nice..

While visiting our son stationed at nearby Nellis AFB, we choose Viva Zapatas for his Birthday dinner on a Sunday night. They were very busy and we had a party of 7 and they sat us quickly, before we could even order they brought little bowls of a Mexican broth type soup for the 3 little ones who were starved... More

Every time I go to Nellis Air Force Base, I cannot pass up an opportunity to have a meal at Viva Zapatas. My Army buddies and I have often had lunch here throughout the years, and I bring all my local friends and out of town family and guests here. They have all raved about the wonderful food. Always consistent,... More

Based on a recommendation from a North Las Vegas resident - we visited Viva Zapatas. Fantastic service and food !! Very authentic - you won't be disappointed with your visit. Very good salsa - chips were also served with refried beans. A must visit on your next trip to Las Vegas !

We drove in from California - out hotel room was not ready so we came here to eat. It was delicious. I loved the beans they served with the chips and salsa. The food was amazing and very authentic.
