Great lunch well off the strip

After a morning hiking north of Vegas we searched for a place for lunch. Very happily found Las Islitas for our group. Warmly welcomed. Seafood everywhere on the table, mostly shrimp and fish tacos. Fresh fast and delicious.

I was surprised that the menu was written in Spanish with little English. I could only understand a little and the server had broken English which made it difficult. The Burrito was OK; however, it was just chunks of Beef with the gristle and not the best I have ever tasted. The Fish Tacos were OK but my wife would... More

The seting was great, bright and colorfull happy vibe throughout. The food was out of this worrld and the Mariachi band was fabulious. It was a mid price place, but you get what you pay for. We all had a great time.

This is a seafood restaurant and not the typical Mexican restaurant.only serves beer and not hard alcohol. The food was outstanding very very good. I will recommend this restaurant to... More

I asked a local person of hispanic decent if they were going out for Mexican food where do hey go, there answer was Las Islitas. Although I don't read Spanish and didn't really know what to order what we had was very good. If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place.

I was introduced to Islitas by a friend that grew up in Las Vegas. She moved to SoCal and complined about every seafood place we took her to. Once I went to Islitas, I understood why she complained so much! The food is Amazing!!!!!!! I usually order the Camarones al Patron. It has bell peppers (red and green), onions and... More
