Went to Hugo's last night with another couple for a New Years Eve dinner. We had not been there for years and decided to give it a try. The tomato soup was good and the bread. The salad was fine, chopped iceberg and a few carrots. Did notice the salad that the people setting by us and ordering later than... More

The service was very good but the food was fairly terrible. My daughter and mother liked the tomato basil soup which is offered w/entrees, I did not. The salad, also offered w/entrees was a nice size, as in small - not a meal, but a starter, but it came out of a bag. The house dressing, a creamy Italian, was... More

Sitting on the hill behind the Virgin River casino, the locations is easy to find. We took a large group of senior athletes and found the menu adaquete , the wine list inexp and ensive and the service delightful. Most enjoyed the Italian dishes, lasagna, shrimp scampi and carbonera. Seperate checks were not a problem. Entree prices were under $20.... More

Based on the reviews, as we were staying in the hotel, I reluctantly ate here as we were tired from a full day of hiking. Sadly, the restaurant was pretty much as reviewed, mediocre fare at best. We stayed away from Italian dishes, I had a so-called Tuscan chicken salad, my husband had the chefs special (salmon). The salmon was... More

We are in town for a week for a belated birthday celebration. I wanted a buffet but opted for this place since I don't want to deal with a buffet or casino crowd. We decided on no appetizers after seeing dinner meal came with salad & soup, bread & butter plus main entree. Which after all that food was a... More

This used to be one of the premier restaurants in Mesquite and then the chief left. Now there is a new chief/owner and the restaurant is making its way back. I would say the food is average Italian - but then there was a big group of us for a party. The dessert was great. Service great with the owner... More

Our options were limited arriving late from East Coast- menu sounded promising with Italian theme. But food very disappointing and ordinary. Dover sole coated in batter and covered in same sauce as chicken piccata. Frozen veggies and underdone potatoes. Calamari appetizer passable. Bread- frozen dough. How about fresh locally produced food?

First off, let me say that the service was very good. The food is old 1960's era bad Italian food. All the same sauce on every dish. Salad with packaged croutons and overly sweet dressing. I ordered the veal, and still am not sure if it was veal. I guess some people like it because they are stuck in a... More
