I visit Las Vegas at least once a year in the height of the summer, so you need a nice, cool, dark bar to rest in. When you find one that comps you lunch if you play video poker and has a HUGE selection of draft beers you know your in the right place. Throw in fish n chips and... more

Im hoping that on my visit to the Crown and Anchor the staff and the pub in general were just having a bad day. Now I totally agree that a "British Pub" should be rough around the edges, but I dont know too many British Pubs that want to have the smell of filthy backed up drains throughout the entire... more

Goin back in august for probably the 15th time. This is WAY offstrip, near the collage, and frequented by the students after dark, and the expats by day. Always cricket, rugby, and both footballs on the screens, and lively vixens serving the ales. Outstanding selection of beers, especially the cream ales, though sadly Tetleys has left the states, and don't... more

I'm always looking for a good pub, and Crown & Anchor was just the off Strip place we needed for a hearty lunch and cold beer. If you've been to more than one "English" pub, you know exactly what to expect. Steak and mushroom pie was very tasty. more

We attended our teams match and sat in a smoke filled room that is a nightmare for athletes and non-smokers alike. Once the match was over, we got the attention of the waitress and ordered food. The food arrived and the plates were placed on the table and that was the end of our contact with our lovely waitress until... more

We visited this place on two occasions and had two different experiences. The first time we were there we were greeted with open arms and as we were from England we felt that it was home from home to us. We chose Roast Lamb and Mint Sauce and Apple Pie and Sherry Trifle the meal was huge and very enjoyable.... more

I have eaten here twice, The first time I sat inside at the raised area across from the bar. I had a cottage pie and a Smithwicks Irish ale (I know... it's a British pub). The pie was great, as was the atmosphere here. Next visit I sat outside on the patio. Tried the Bangers with a Guiness Stout. The... more

If you have never been to the c&a you really have to try it!!! Went for the 1st time 3 weeks ago and sat at the bar playing a bit of VP, nothing too excessive, inserted 50 bucks and had 6 pints of lager comped plus my lunch of steak pie, and cashed out $40, Hows that for deal!!! Even... more

My favorite "decompression" spot in Las Vegas. Yes, it is a pub, complete with the well worn bar, smoky atmosphere and excellent selection of ales (including the best line-up of darker ones I have found... Young's, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, etc.) Football, American and British, on the screen, and the usual excitement from the crowd. It does have a more... more
