Slow service, good food, quaint

Tried to get 7pm reservations for 5 people, but couldn't get anything until 8:30. I negotiated and got reservations at 7:30 but told them we'd be there at 7 in case something was available. Small restaurant that is closed off from the smokey casino. The maitre'd escorts the ladies to their seats... read more

How it has changed. The service is soooo slow you think they forgot you. The food quality has deteriorated. This is 2 visits after my last review. Both times we waited a really long time for our food. It was not crowded either time so that was not the reason. Go to SC Prime next door at Suncoast. It's far... More

We started with raw oysters and escargots. The oysters were fresh and presented nicely, the escargots were delicious but I would have liked more garlic on it. The filet mignon was gigantic and cooked medium rare presented nicely and delicious. We finished our meal with a chocolate souffle. Service was always fast and friendly.

Old Vegas style steak house. A great locales place and for visitors seeking a good meal. We had the Chicken Picatta and the Pan Seared Salmon. Started by splitting a chopped salad enough for both of us. Finished we a great Vanilla bean crème brûlée. Also had an excellent Cappuccino.

My family loves to come hear for special occasions. It is located at the Rampart Casino which is adjacent to the JW Marriott Hotel in Summerlin in the Northwest Part of Las Vegas. This is a wonderful restaurant. My daughter and I splurge and usually get the Surf and Turf. (Lobster and Filet Mignon) Delcious every time! My husband and... More

Quiet, relaxing environment in the midst of a casino. Good food & service. You can make reservations online and Terrry the host is always prompt and welcoming.

Recently we dined in Summerlin ( the well-to-do) area of Las Vegas west/northwest of town. This high income neighborhood features top-end eateries, malls, homes and of course a brand name hospital for those who can afford them. One of the better establishments by consensus word of mouth is the Carmel Room located within the local Rampart Casino. For years I... More

This was a lovely atmosphere and delicious food at a cost far less than comparable steak restaurants in Vegas. We will definitely be going again.

The food was good, served in an upscale, very pricey setting. The waitstaff is formally clad, French-style trained. The food was good but not great. It's hard to be an incredible meat restaurant, not too hard to be a good one. Everyone mostly had meat, steaks, filet mignons, and roast beef, mostly rare or medium rare, and everyone loved their... After years of reading about this place, we were really looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. There are superior steakhouse restaurants in Las Vegas for better value. Pros:Well appointed room/good bread basket/wilted spinach salad is excellent Cons: Onion Soup was very salty, we weren't even done with the soup when the spinach... More
