We have eaten at the Oyster Bar many times and always love the food. Oysters on the half shell are wonderful. I love the Alaskan Chowder (New England style) and the Bouillabaisse. It is normal to have a wait since the bar only seats 18 and the food is cooked to order right in front of you. This time, however,... More

I discovered this restaurant a few years ago while searching for an Oyster Bar with a Seafood Pan Roast. I have traveled to Reno several times and discovered a pan roast many years ago. This is such a wonderful dish I am still shocked more restaurants don’t serve this. The wait was long – as expected. I had read the... More

Everyone will know just how DAMN GOOD the food is here. You will earn you meal with the wait - only seats 18, and the cigarette smoke. I have up on the wait after an hour last year, I held tough this year and it was totally with the wait - both nights! We had oyster shooters with vodka and... More

The food, delicious, good portions, but the service led more than a less desirable taste. Lets start with I have food allergies. When I explained this to the cook his... More

This is the first time in 15 years we had problems with this restaurant. We waited 1.5 hours standing on line, watching the sit down customers waiting for an hour to be served. No pager is given, they just let you stand there for all this time. Finally we got the sits but they forgot to remove all dirty forks... More

This is our very favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Every time we travel to Las Vegas, we eat here once or twice and have the pan roasts. The gumbo is excellent, too. The prices are reasonable for seafood in a land-locked state. My husband and I were ecstatic because they are now open 24-hours a day! Maria and Juan Bustamante,... More
