About a year ago I had lunch at the Grotto near Houston, TX. When I found out they are a chain and are in Las Vegas, I picked up their card as a reminder. We went to the LV place to celebrate my husband's birthday before going to a show. It was as good as the place in TX, just... more

We stopped at The Grotto in The Golden Nugget Casino 3 years ago, and had a excellent anniversary dinner. Not too expensive, with superb food & service. Last week (10/24/09) we had a post-wedding lunch for 15 people at The Grotto, following our son's wedding at a nearby chapel. Once again the meal and the service were excellent. Great pasta... more

Poor service, beverage empty most of meal, older female brunette waitress, friendly, but clearly over seated, and full of excuses as to why I did not have a beverage. Food FAIR, got salmon and pasta, weird texture. more

We ventured downtown to see the Ratpack show and wanted to find somewhere we could have dinner afterward. Grotto seemed to have good reviews so we decided to book a table. I must confess that when I saw it's mid-casino location my heart sunk. However, overall this was without doubt the best meal that we ate in Las Vegas. Personable,... more

This was our second trip to the Grotto in the last fifteen months. Everything has only become better. The bruchetta, lasagne and tiramsu is the best I have ever eaten. Joseph, our server, was exceptional. We will continue to eat here everytime we are in Las Vegas. more

Suprising, but in the corner just off of the casino floor in pleasant but unpretentious surroundings is one of the best values in Las Vegas. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and it won't break the bank more

This is a 'real' Italian restaurant. Homemade pastas, breads, sauces with big chunks of fresh tomatoes, etc. If you are looking for the cheap Italian al' Americano type food, then this place is not for you. It is the best Italian food that we have had so far, since we were in Italy. We were pleasantly shocked....we had no intention... more

Grotto has top- notch Italian. I never stay at Golden Nugget but happened to spot this place and have been back several times. Everything on the menu I have tried (and those with me who would let me taste) is excellent. You can spend lots more in Vegas and not get as good a meal as Grotto. more

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. The service was efficient and timely, the food was good (not great, but not priced that way either), and the atmosphere was pleasant. My wife's lasagna was appreciably better than my order of sausage and peppers, but both were tasty. We will come back to Grotto next time we stay... more

We were in Vegas May 11, 2008, and after renewing our 25th wedding vows found our way downtown. We decided to try the Grotto. What a nice surprise, surpassed our expectations. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere a little noisy, but would definetely eat there again. more
