At such a well known and elaborate complex as the Mirage, we expected better. Nice ambiance inside, authentic fixtures but the service was painfully slow. There was no shortage of wait staff; they just did not seem to be focused. At all. Finally, one waiter seemed to determine that we must be assigned to him and still, we were there... More

This is exactly what I would expect when you are looking to spend quite a bit on dinner! The rock appetizer was something new and tasted great! The service was as good as it gets! The portions aren't huge but everything we had was very flavorful. Great sushi, great drinks and an overall great place.

This is my favorite place in Las Vegas to eat: Period!!! Every meal is crafted individually. They have sushi, robata, and gourmet entrees. Try the crispy shrimp and tuna roll. Simply amazing. The steaks are the best ever and the presentation demonstrates the care that goes into each meal If you are looking for dining that elevates discussion with family... More

We went to Japonais before a show, and were surprised it was as good as it was - we had a selection from each of the kitchen areas (sushi and robata), which were delicious, and then the "Le Quack" to top it off. Wow, what a dish! A generous half smoked duck breast served moo shu style. Awesome meal and... More

We were looking for a small, quick meal prior to the Beatles Love Cirque du Soleil show and stumbled upon Japonais. I had the added requirement of needing something gluten free. I had salmon avocado roll and my husband had the shrimp tempura appetizer. Both were excellent. We sat at the bar near the habachi station, and watched the chef... More

We had the platter to share and the sashimi and rolls was fresh and the service was excellent! If you stay at the Mirage, this place is a must.

Awesome food. We had alot of sushi and several different kinds of robata. Sushi (rolls and sashimi) were excellent. Ordered more sushi and sea bass robata after the first round was eaten in minutes. Our drinks took a little while to arrive, but were very good. Service was just ok, but the food was very good.

We had an amazing meal here before watching Love at the Mirage. The waiter (Wilfre) was fab, he made lots of recommendations and knew loads about the menu, we ordered some things he mentioned and they were the best bits! Would recommend 'The Rock' starter it is delicious! Great food, service and cocktails and although not the cheapest it was... More
