Interesting decor with false brick cathedral ceilings throughout. The afternoon we were there, the female bartender didn't like being disturbed as she was chatting with friends. After a long wait with only a half-dozen other patrons, two pedestrian draft beers and a glass of mediocre wine came to $26 during happy hour -- which apparently is limited to stuff people... More

We ended up in the Griffin two nights in a row (Drinks only), it had a great vibe and a real mix of clientele from bikers to tattooed rockers to 50’s housewife look-a-likes. It was very dark and lit by candles, service was swift and the drinks where cheap. On the Friday when we were there a back room was... More

I loved all the brick work inside and the fireplaces. That coupled with a good bear selection and you could call me a happy man. The bartender that was on duty the last time we were there was cheerful, a knockout to look at and friendly to boot. Was a little slow to suggest options when we inquired as to... More

I spotted a guy taking a picture of one of the adjacent buildings and asked him what was picture worthy there. It turns out he was a semi-local guy on a tour of historic Vegas sites and the storefront there is the oldest in LV. We chatted him up for a while and then we all went to The Griffin... More

I think in another location this place would do gangbusters. The problem is that they are right in the middle of one of the hippest neighborhoods in Vegas, so the idea behind this place is a little out of place. It's designed to look like a mid evil tavern and they do a good job with that - arched brick... More

A real pub with Ale on tap where you can find some locals and not only tourists. The music was good and the dance floor packed.

This place is a cool and cheap place to hang out. A breeding ground for the cool. Every weekend they open the back room and fill it with dancing people and cool drinks. The place can get a little packed, but it still is a fun place to go, especially down town.

They check your ID at the door, be prepared. Drinks are a bit pricey and stiff! Wheeee! Super dark and loud, just enjoy the scene and keep talking to a minimum. They do allow smoking, yah! It adds to the ambiance.

Went here with a friend. Met some fun people, had great drinks and enjoyed an evening of warmth by a fire pit as it was cold in Las Vegas if you can believe that. I didn't order any food, but they're were multiple beer opportunities plus plenty of cocktail options. The bartenders are great and they have live music on... More

I took a walk down Fremont Street with a friend for the first time in at least 15 years (and I live in Las Vegas) and we stopped at The Griffin for a beer. I was extremely surprised by the establishment. It is a nice change from the typical bar scene in Las Vegas let a lone the casino. The... More
