Pricey but Good

Could not wait to eat at Raos due to the fact you can not get a seat in NYC. Did not live up to my expectations.I did not mind paying $52 for veal parmigiana but when you are dining out PLEASE do not rush my meal. We asked the waiter to please hold the entree because we were not in... read more

While staying at the Palazzo, one of the bartenders recommended we try Rao's instead of the chain Italian restaurant we had made reservations for. This was one of the best tips we received while in Las Vegas! Rao's has that old world charm, and home style feel of a family run Italian restaurant. We sat at the bar, which was... More

The food and the service is always very good. No inexperainced servers here, always top notch. The food has always been great quality, but one thing has always thrown me every time I;ve been here (at least 10 times)...they don't have chicken parm on the menu. That's a staple in an Italian Restaurant. Come on guys, stop making me walk... More

We have never succeeded in getting a reservation at the original Rao's, so we were pleased to have dinner here. My osso bucco was the best I have ever had. My friend got eggplant parm with a side of the meatballs. We also brought dessert away with us...tiramusu and a cannoli. Yes, expensive...but worth it to hear my friend gush... More

Markets itself as fine dining, and prices reflect that, but the quality doesn't match that sadly. Linguine with clams too dry, clam starter too small, seafood salad tasteless. Spam Bol was good. Won't be returning, far better high end options.

Really good Italian food, and yes the meatballs are as good as the reputation. Waiter was really good, probably the best we had all week in Vegas. We'd head back there next time we're in town.

We had a wonderful dinner at Rao's. The staff was very accommodating when our reservation group of 9 was reduced to 2. We didn't have to wait long for a table. Drinks at the bar were refreshing & well prepared. When we ordered dinner we were rather famished, but our very professional waiter warned us when he thought we were... More

Coming from a large Italian family, I am very particular about Italian food. I have heard about Rao’s for years because of its New York City location and reputation, so I was eager to dine there on this last trip to Vegas. Loved it and will make sure to eat there every time I go to Las Vegas. Atmosphere: Excellent…very... More

Our Italian meal here was very, very good. The best part was the side order of meatballs. They are about the size of two baseballs, and the flavor was fantastic. The service was great too, we had our meal about 6 minutes after we placed our order!

My wife and I ate at Rao's early one evening before the Elton John show at Caesars. Knowing that the portions are huge we intentionally ordered fewer dishes than normal. I spotted a salad on another diners plate -it was enormous - piled high, enough for 3 people so we opted for the Mozzarella en carroza for our appetizer -... More
