Description: The entrepreneurial spirit and the passion for cooking span generations in the Low Family. Grandma was a chef who catered to thousands of farmers and factory workers in the home town of Penang, Malaysia while Mama Low continued the culinary tradition by opening a catering business when the family migrated to Tacoma, Washington in the early 80’s.In 2005, the “kids”, along with Mama Low, relocated to Las Vegas to open what’s known today as SATAY – Thai Bistro & Bar. The use of the freshest ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs in all their unique dishes were recognized by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2008 when SATAY was named the “Best Asian Restaurant in Las Vegas.” Today, SATAY and its now 14 member staff remain dedicated to catering to the appetites of the local communities and conventioneers. If you love food as much as SATAY does, you’re definitely in for an unforgettable dining experience!

We have been enjoying Thai food since our trip to Thailand in 2000 and our son’s marriage to a beautiful/intelligent Thai girl. We consider ourselves experts …. for Thanksgiving we have Pad Thai with our turkey. We were drawn to Satay by its convenient location and accessibility just off the strip along with the Trip Advisor restaurant summary detailing the... More

The service was slow for the amount of people that were dining, and this seems to be a trend as I've been here a few times. The food was good and well priced.

If you are driving to the airport, you may want to consider having your last meal in Vegas at Satay located on Paradise, the road that takes you directly to the airport. While a bit pricier than your average Chinese dive it is well worth it. Always freshly prepared, delicious and presented well; Satay's dishes definitely have the qualities associated... More

Recently visited Satay and it was very good. I would highly recommend and go back next time I wanted some good Thai food in Vegas. Prices were very reasonable much better then most places on the strip. Service was great.

OMG the BEST fresh Thai you will eat. Don't pass this place up. Large menu and coconut rice is great. Across the street from the Marriott Residence Inn

Decided to come here based on the TripAdvisor reviews and because it was close to the hotel we were staying in (Candlewood Suites). It was superb. The service was excellent from the moment we came in until we left. The food was really yummy; you can chose your level of spiciness. We had tom yum soup as an appetizer and... More

In town playing in a regional bridge tournament and was looking for some far eastern food. Didn't find any Chinese restaurants that were rated good/excellent that appeared to be reasonably priced so looked for Thai food. This place was rated very good so gave it a shot since we were in the neighborhood. Had a wonderful meal of Pork Pad... More

We were in Las Vegas for the CES show and staying at a Fairfield Marriott down the street. The management suggested Satay so we gave it try. Wonderful is the best way to describe our experience. Miguel greeted us and promptly gave us their last table. He advised us they were very busy with the CES in town and our... More

Entrees range from $9 to $12. Platters are meant top be shared but are more than large enough to feed one person. The waiters are also very attentive. The food is good, especially if you like pah tai. But the boba tea it's too sweat. Also if your eating only one dish, it becomes a but cumbersome after a while.

Satay is a hidden gem located a short distance from the strip in Las Vegas. It offers affordable Asian food in a good atmosphere. You will need a car to get here from the strip (I would not recommend walking and much of the value would be stripped away with a cab ride), but it is worth the detour. I... More
