Description: **WINNER of the BEST of LAS VEGAS 2014 by Las Vegas Review-Journal Poll** The entrepreneurial spirit and the passion for cooking span generations in the Low Family. Grandma was a chef who catered to thousands of farmers and factory workers in the home town of Penang, Malaysia while Mama Low continued the culinary tradition by opening a catering business when the family migrated to Tacoma, Washington in the early 80's.In 2005, the "kids", along with Mama Low, relocated to Las Vegas to open what's known today as SATAY - Thai Bistro & Bar. The use of the freshest ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs in all their unique dishes were recognized by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2008 when SATAY was named the "Best Asian Restaurant in Las Vegas." Today, SATAY and its now 14 member staff remain dedicated to catering to the appetites of the local communities and conventioneers. If you love food as much as SATAY does, you're definitely in for an unforgettable dining experience!

I don't give this rating very often. The food is absolutely delicious. We had Tom Kha with chicken and again with shrimp, Singapore noodles with seafood, pad Thai with pork, basil curry with chicken, and lamb curry. This was over two nights. All excellent dishes. As for heat I can eat fresh habanero and jalepeno in small quantities with my... More

I have been to many Thai restaurants and am an avid food critic. I will however give credit where it is due. 1. The waiter - very knowledgeable about the good and great attention to detail. We were 8 covers and he actually remembered each ones order to the last detail. 2. Quality of food The highest rating I give... More

Stopped by on our way through for take out. Waiter was extremely friendly and we are able to get our food fairly fast. The food was so good. We had fried rice, pad thai, and penang curry. It was about $10-14 each and was some of the best Thai food we've had.

I wish they had 0 so I could give them a 0. Went their last night to enjoy some Thai food especially after reading the awesome reviews. We were totally disappointed not by the food but by their worst possible service, since they did not serve any food for almost an hour. Their excuse was they had a big table... More

We stumbled across this place by chance as it is just off the main strip and we were so pleased we did. The food here is fantastic and very reasonably priced, and the drinks are incredible. You just have to try the Thai Ginger Martini, it's probably the best drink I've ever had.

Great food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Curries are best! We like spicy, went with their level 8 and 10 and it was just perfect. Good options for vegetarians. Also liked banana fritters with ice cream. Just 5-7 minutes from Strip.

I've been to many thai restaurants in the country. This restaurant is in my top 5. Very fresh, and tasty, whatever you order.

Loved the prices and all the appetizers. I was too full of appetizers to love my entree, but it was pretty good anyways. The place was clean, quiet, affordable, and we had a nice relaxing time there away from the hustle and bustle of the strip.
