Description: **WINNER of the BEST of LAS VEGAS 2014 by Las Vegas Review-Journal Poll** The entrepreneurial spirit and the passion for cooking span generations in the Low Family. Grandma was a chef who catered to thousands of farmers and factory workers in the home town of Penang, Malaysia while Mama Low continued the culinary tradition by opening a catering business when the family migrated to Tacoma, Washington in the early 80's.In 2005, the "kids", along with Mama Low, relocated to Las Vegas to open what's known today as SATAY - Thai Bistro & Bar. The use of the freshest ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs in all their unique dishes were recognized by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2008 when SATAY was named the "Best Asian Restaurant in Las Vegas." Today, SATAY and its now 14 member staff remain dedicated to catering to the appetites of the local communities and conventioneers. If you love food as much as SATAY does, you're definitely in for an unforgettable dining experience!

This is a wonderful little Thai restaurant just a few blocks off Las Vegas Blvd in downtown Las Vegas. I had the Pad Thai, and my husband had the Chicken Chowmein. And both were delicious, gentle dishes. We asked for no extra spice, so the tastes were just right. My Pad Thai had shrimp, done to taste, and we also... More

My husband and I were looking for some good Thai food in Vegas and read good reviews about this place. Unfortunately, the restaurant expected a large party and offered us a small table directly next to a loud audio speaker, so we asked to be moved, and they suggested we sit on the enclosed patio "which had AC." It was... More

I had dinner here with friends. The service was very attentive and the food was excellent. The Pad Thai was fresh, hot, and very tasty. I would eat here again the next time I'm in Vegas.

Horrible attention. The servers are rude and mean. They last more than 30 minutes to get the food in my table. Definitely I will never get back in here. Not recommended.

On my own for a quick overnight. I needed a fast yet good meal. I have many food intolerances and need to avoid many ingredients. The menu had wide variety, and indicated which were gluten free. My waiter, who was capably serving several tables, was very patient and knowledgeable on several more ingredients I have to avoid. My drink arrived... More

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. The reviews are spot on as far as the food goes. Our waitress was great, she always made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out in a timely manner and it was great. We also didn't have to pay a ton of money like at some... More
