Description: **WINNER of the BEST of LAS VEGAS 2014 by Las Vegas Review-Journal Poll** The entrepreneurial spirit and the passion for cooking span generations in the Low Family. Grandma was a chef who catered to thousands of farmers and factory workers in the home town of Penang, Malaysia while Mama Low continued the culinary tradition by opening a catering business when the family migrated to Tacoma, Washington in the early 80's.In 2005, the "kids", along with Mama Low, relocated to Las Vegas to open what's known today as SATAY - Thai Bistro & Bar. The use of the freshest ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs in all their unique dishes were recognized by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2008 when SATAY was named the "Best Asian Restaurant in Las Vegas." Today, SATAY and its now 14 member staff remain dedicated to catering to the appetites of the local communities and conventioneers. If you love food as much as SATAY does, you're definitely in for an unforgettable dining experience!

We had a gift certificate from our local NPR station to visit Satay Thai on Paradise Road. We opted for small plates since this was our lunch, and they were all delicious. We shared shrimp tacos, chicken and beef satay, honey pork and two other dishes, one of which was an unleavened bread with curry sauce. Service was also first-rate.... More

We were looking for a place within walking distance of our hotel, and found Satay right next door. This place has great food and great service, and was very reasonably priced, especially for Vegas. We had the yellow curry and the pad Thai, and both were really good. They have a pretty big menu and lots of drinks as well,... More

We love this place. Good service, great food, reasonably priced. Makes for a nice change from all the over-priced and crowded places on the Strip.

My family wanted to eat something close by the hotel (Fairfield Inn) and this was in the shopping strip next door. Glad we tried it. The mango dishes were delicious! It got approval from my 2.5 year old toddler!

From the minute we walked in the service here was excellent! The food was just as excellent. We ate family style with 3 different dishes that were reccomended. Everything came out great. The heat level was perfect and the portions were a good size. Of course the best thing about Thai food is the flavor and these dishes were packed... More

My husband and I were looking for some good noodles and I think we found it. The waitress was really nice and the noodles were so good! The restaurant was pretty empty and they were really fast. Is a really good place for a romantic dinner or just for noodles craving! Very near from the strip.

Although we were late on a Wednesday evening, no problem. We like Thai/Indonesian food, and they do not disappoint. The curry laksa is good, interesting fishballs, shown on their tripadvisor picture, the satay with peanut sauce tasty, my daughter ate 2 of those as her main dish, never had a smoothie with BOBA, it is good and we like Thai... A romantic night kind of went wrong after another restaurant we were planning to go closed earlier that night. My girlfriend was craving Thai food and after googling a bit a checking tripadvisor reviews we decided to go to this place even if it was a little far from our hotel. Well, it was all worth it!! We arrived very... More

Best deal on food anywhere near the convention center. It is a mile or two south on Paradise. So you need a car or a cab if it is hot out. Excellent Thai food, friendly people, reasonable prices. Great egg rolls.
