Description: **WINNER of the BEST of LAS VEGAS 2014 by Las Vegas Review-Journal...
**WINNER of the BEST of LAS VEGAS 2014 by Las Vegas Review-Journal Poll** The entrepreneurial spirit and the passion for cooking span generations in the Low Family. Grandma was a chef who catered to thousands of farmers and factory workers in the home town of Penang, Malaysia while Mama Low continued the culinary tradition by opening a catering business when the family migrated to Tacoma, Washington in the early 80's.In 2005, the "kids", along with Mama Low, relocated to Las Vegas to open what's known today as SATAY - Thai Bistro & Bar. The use of the freshest ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs in all their unique dishes were recognized by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2008 when SATAY was named the "Best Asian Restaurant in Las Vegas." Today, SATAY and its now 14 member staff remain dedicated to catering to the appetites of the local communities and conventioneers. If you love food as much as SATAY does, you're definitely in for an unforgettable dining experience!

Terriffic food

Oh my god! I love this place, some of the best food in Las Vegas. The price is so reasonable it's ridiculous. Only a few blocks off the Strip.

This first thing that hit us when we entered this place was the smell, and not in a good way. Stale. We should have left at that point but due to the high rating on here we stuck it out. The next thing we realised was that heat. a/c was poor to the point it was uncomfortable. We should have... More

The curry duck was fabulous. The place is small and not fancy, but the food was all very good. I ate there twice for lunch. A bit long wait the second day but we got there after noon and the food was worth the wait.

We were there for dinner, organized for a group, attending a meeting. The owners and waiters were friendly. The food was a menu agreed by the organizer and the restaurant. The food was average. I could have had a better meal elsewhere for less. the restaurant is in a busy shopping center, sometimes, you have to park at the adjacent lot.... More

Hard day, cold beer at the bar No pressure, ordered some small plates, very good, the way you want end your day. I recommend Satay, it's my only Thai go to in Vegas

Nice restaurant my husband and I found and stopped in to have an appetizer and drink. Food was delicious. The restaurant is in a little strip mall off the Las Vegas Blvd. We would have never known it was there. I would highly recommend stopping in for appetizer’s or dinner, you won’t be sorry.

We really want to like this restaurant and friends of ours even know the owners but it is quite ordinary and nothing special. The food is good, service is good although not especially welcoming (possibly as a same sex married couple but cannot be sure). Made several requests to turn down the very loud music playing (ok it's a bar... More

After checking into our hotel after a very long day's drive, we were fortunate to happen upon the Satay Thai Bistro. We had three small plates between us, the pot stickers, lettuce wraps, and samosas. We really enjoyed all the food, it was well prepared, tasted good and the servers were all very professional and friendly. It was so good... More

Some of the best pad thai Ive ever had, not too greasy and the meat was tender. Their fried rice options are also good, try the Nasi Goreng - shrimp and squid (you can ask for chicken/pork sub) with a fried egg. Overall really good clean flavors. Nice side salad to start. They do delivery as well.

Satay was the least expensive dinner we ate in Las Vegas, but it was also the best meal we ate there. I had the Thai Duck Curry, which is their red curry duck dish. It was fantastic with the right level of kick to it. They have a really nice 5 PM-7 PM happy hour with $5 martinis and tropical... More
