Great before Concert at MGM

This was really good Sushi! Lots of choices, very fresh, and we could take our time sampling and ordering as we ate. You feel secluded from the hassle at MGM, so could focus on the meal, relax and enjoy!

so you can see and smell just how fresh the seafood is. The wait staff is good and the sushi chefs are artists. Good thing we had a show to go to or we would have probably ordered much more.

Five of us took in, as walk-ins, a two person birthday dinner. They seated us immediately. The staff was delightful and provided multiple complementary items. The drink list was expansive with all kinds of saki. Two of our party had multiple sushi courses and it looked wonderful. They both indicated it tasted awesome. Our sample were very good. The remains... More

The environment and setting are fancy - quite dark and somewhat mysterious; the food quantity is tiny; the price is very high; the service is average... You eat at this place not for value or food, but for atmosphere.

Wow! Having eaten sushi all over the US, we have some pretty high expectations. This was unreal. The sushi literally melted in my mouth. Friendly, efficient, and delicious. While not cheap it was an experience I cannot wait to repeat.

Sitting at the bar is a must at this establishment. You can watch your sushi chef expertly cut your fish to order. I'll start off with the prices, to fill you up this is extremely expensive (around $100 per person) which is on par with what you would expect from a high end sushi restaurant. We ordered the sushi platter,... More

We jumped in here after watching KA. What a mistake. I understand Vegas strip casino restsurants are going to be expensive. That's a given. But for the prices you pay for sushi and entrees, such an INCREDIBLE disappointment. Where to start? Ambience and service were fine. Wait staff pleasant and knowledgeable enough. The food? What a joke!?!?? I am not... More

My husband and I went here for dinner on a monday night. It was not crowded and the service was excellent. We shared several dishes (the portions are small like tapas), the best being the Shibuya Fish & Chips (Black asahi beer battered alaskan cod, sweet potato chips, wasabi tartar sauce, sherry ponzu). The sweet potato "chips" were more a... More

Stayed at the MGM and really was craving some sushi so we decided to give Shibuya a try. Made a reservation and was seated promptly upon arrival. We were seated at the sushi bar and decided to only eat sushi. At this place you don't order anything directly to the sushi chefs, you place all orders with the server. We... More

Cooked 12 ounces of ribeye to perfection right in front of me. Was jealous of my friends' surf and turf. Didn't need the sauces provided. Sashimi was fresh and beautiful. They call this restaurant Shibuya because that's what they say when they bring the bill - "Shah BOOYAH!" Worth every penny, though.
