Great Japanese

We dined here with another couple. When we were seated my Colleagues wife said there is nothing I can eat here, by the time we left she was licking her plate clean. Great Food, Great time.

Shibuya has been in the MGM Grand as long as I can remember. I ate there for the first time this past weekend. That was the first and last time. The decor is very nice and the service is good. For a sushi place, the sushi is uninspiring especially at the high prices (to be expected for a hotel restaurant).... More

I've already been to great japanese restaurants in NYC, Japan, Brazil (biggest japanese community outside of Japan), and I know what great japanese food is. This is a regular japanese restaurant, nice place, small plate super-overpriced ($55 for 10 piece of Sushi). My suggestion in Las Vegas: go to Mizuya at Mandalay Bay, you pay half the price with same... More

Anyone who has read my reviews of the various Nobu locations I have visited, will soon see I am a devotee of Chef Nobu. However, Shibuya (at MGM) is a worthy challenger. Many of the signature items at both places are virtually identical. For example, both have yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, wagyu beef tataki style (called "new" style at Nobu),... More

This was a very fancy sushi restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. The only reason why I don't give it a 5 is because sushi should not be that expensive. But hey, it's Vegas, most restaurants are expensive.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Las Vegas. It is so fresh and the taste of the dishes is great! Some of my favorites: Hamachi Jalapeño, Poke Salmon Sashimi, Poke Roll, Blue Fin Tuna Sashimi, Rock Shrimp Tempura, Earl Grey Cheesecake and Banana with Ice Cream Dessert! Everything is good here!

Absolutely gorgeous! The staff were very friendly and helpful, constantly on their toes and ready when the table needed anything. I had the Chef's Sushi Dinner for $55 which I would highly recommend - you got Miso soup for starter and then a plate of about 12 different sushi pieces. The atmosphere was really nice and the presentation was gorgeous,... More

Really top-notch salmon sashimi and rolls--I would highly recommend their signature Maki. The servers took their time explaining and recommending, and I felt really taken care of.

I liked the meal, good service, nice selection. The problem was that the prices were through the roof. Seriously. I would try other things in Vegas and save your sushi money for

The decor here is modern and stylish, with an airy and classy ambiance. Our meal here was completely flawless. My husband very much enjoyed the pork belly, which melted in the mouth and was extremely tasty. I had the Rock Shrimp, which was quite possibly the best Shrimp I have ever had. It was soft in your mouth and very... More
