A good meal

Good unpretentious dishes, cooked well and served by genuine people. This restaurant is worth the walk from the Strip.

We read about this casino for breakfast. A huge menu and you can't spend over $10.95. Plus the Bloody Mary Bar was a good eye opener.

My husband & I visited Ellis Island while in Las Vegas. This recommendation was given by a taxi cab driver who was originally from our home town Chicago. We both ordered 1/2 rack of ribs & 1/2 Barbeque chicken. Oh my goodness.....Absolutely Delicious! Ellis Island 2Thumbs Up! Can't wait too visit again!

We finally tried the fabulously priced Vegas steak dinner that we saw advertised so often. We came here based on the other favorable reviews. We almost left when the hostess told us that the wait was one hour and 20 minutes but at 7pm on a Friday night, anything good will have a wait. We were pleasantly surprised when we... More

Was not disappointed....it had been 7 years since visiting vegas and dining at Ellis island cafe. Nicely remodeled since i last visited. Food is still great. I had the top sirloin special and it was delicious. This place is crowded, so get there early or you will wait for a table. Service was a little slow, but well worth the... More

The food was incredible bold flavor and large portions, nice atmosphere and friendly staff we will be back. The baked beans where a little to spicy but I was told the coleslaw was awesome (I don't eat coleslaw) the corn on the cob was really good. The bread could have been cooked a little longer so that it was toasted... More

I'm sorry to say that the experience at the Ellis Island Restaurant was very poor. The Mozzarella sticks were still frozen, and were returned, my wife's french dip was dry and tasteless! My chefs salad and coffee were good. The restaurant was packed and the servers were over matched. Several other people dining nearby also complained about the accuracy and... More

We stopped at Ellis Island because we wanted a microbrew. We spent almost every meal at Ellis because the value was unbeatable! Their very own microbrewery is right on site and the beer was only around $2 for a huge glass! Steak dinner was the best I've ever had. Steak and eggs was amazing for breakfast, as was their biscuits... More

Had late lunch and a breakfast here, and found both to be good value for what I call good diner food. They were very busy for breakfast but still things came out in a timely manner. Do have to add that since this is attached to a small casino, there is a lingering odor of cigarette smoke. Not horrible, but... More
