Someone told us to check out the Ellis Island BBQ off the strip and it was a great recommendation. If you sign up for a player's club card there, you get $3 off your meal. Basic menu but it keeps it simple - chicken and/or ribs. You can get a huge rack of ribs with corn on the cob, coleslaw,... More

We were told by several to give Ellis Island a chance- starting with our shuttle driver from our resort & so glad we did. Rosie was our waitress and she was very friendly and willing to give us helpful advise for Vegas attractions. We noticed a nice Trip Advisor Award displayed in their lobby. Great steak and service - A... More

After a long long day at a dance competition, we were looking for a quick place to eat for not alot of money. After reading the reviews of this restaurant we went in to eat. It was later at night and I was completely uncomfortable walking thru this casino. Especially with children. Not a place you want to be after... More

This is an off strip restaurant and the best deal by far. We went here and had a rib and chicken combo and only came to $25 for the both of us. Food was EXCELLENT!!!!! I wanted to go back to this place. If you can make it off strip please check it out.

Saw the reviews of Ellis Island before we arrived in Vegas and decided to check it out....Portion sizes were hugh and the food was well cooked. Would definitely recommend...one of the best places we ate at our whole time in vegas.

Only a couple blocks off the strip. You will pay 1/4 the amount of $$ for a great steak or prime rib dinner. Try their in house made beer for $2 on a 20 .oz glass. Look for a waiter named Eugene. He'll take good care of you.

hi, Some one told me to go here because the food was cheap and they were right. What they did not say was the casino was dark and dingie and restaurant itself looks greasy. We order the ham steak and eggs and it had a funny taste to it.We ask our server about it and was told it was the... More

We ate the 7.99 steak dinner with a 12 oz sirloin, baked potato, green beans, and salad. Oh yeah it includes a microbrew beer or outstanding root beer. You have to ask for it, as it is not on the menu. Be sure to get your coupon from the players club.

Went on a Friday night - had the 1/2 rack ribs and bbq chicken - was very very good! Very reasonably priced too - a definite bonus in Vegas! The meal is HUGE - you could split it for sure but they have a split plate charge of $5.00. The entire meal cost $9.99. Came with corn, garlic toast, baked... More

I highly recommend you make the trip to eat the New York strip and eggs ($5.99). It was well worth the walk from the Mirage (20 minutes). Friendly and quick service.
