Just got back from Las Vegas and ate at Ellis Island one night. If you don't want to spend $$$ for a steak dinner on The Strip then this is the place for you. I was there with my brother on Tuesday night. The place was packed. We had to wait for about 45 minutes. To kill time we gambled... More

Decent food at rock-bottom prices, but the clueless waiter couldn't even produce a whiskey on the rocks without repeated trips back to the table to ask me again....beyond pathetic. Steak/Prime Rib were good, although one of my fellow diners was unhappy with her meal. One +, a 20oz beer comes with the prime rib...

Had to visit this place after reading so many good reviews on TA. And I'm so glad that we did. The food was well cooked, with a real home made feel to it. The service was great, with fresh coffee every five minutes. When we asked for a table we where told a fithteen minute wait, but they gave us... More

Arrived in Vegas on Tues 10/7 and after checking into my hotel, walked over to Ellis Island to try out the steak special. For $8.99- you get a steak (a little tough but it wasn't bad), baked potato, salad and 20 oz. beer, with tax it was $9.90. I did sign up for the players card and received $15 free... More

We stayed at the Elara and looking out of our 27th floor window to see the Highly recommended Ellis Island Restaurant behind the strip. The taxi was 7 bucks and found the eatery in the back of the Casino. After eating and gambling at some of the nicest places on the strip, we had to try it after not one,... More

We make it a point to visit Ellis Island twice during the week we are visiting Vegas. On the first visit we eat in the café. The steak dinner excellent. Everything we have tried has been good. The next visit is for the BBQ ribs which are excellent. The food is extremely good and reasonably priced.

Always stop here when in Vegas. It's a "must" always. Best prices around and some of the very best food. This trip we tried the NY Strip steak and Shrimp. This meal was only 11.99. We got our choice of soup or salad and our choice of baked, mashed potatoes or steak fries. This steak was fantastic. NY Strip was... More

Ellis island is my favorite breakfast place. it is about 3 blocks from the strip but well worth the walk. the outside appearance is not that appealing but the food makes up for it! i have only gone for breakfast - but it is always done well. I had the steak and eggs for 5.99 and steak was done perfectly.... More
